hahahahaha. Don't mind d mofo. The pictures r very bright and clear. His phone screen is clearly outdated. Hahaha. @topic, I see there has been a lot of improvements at unizik except that back gate leading to ifite road. It still looks d same from d early 2000s. @op, do they still sell abacha and palmy behind dat gate?
You gat me cracked up here. Unizik has actually improved tremendously. Those of us comparing UNIZIK with OAU and UNILAG simply did not know when Unizik was referred to as UNISTRESS. The renaissance in infrastructural development started during the time of Prof. Ilochi Okafor as VC in 2002. I'm surely proud of what they have been able to achieve. I love Unizik but I love UNILAG more.

My friend just STFU! 23 years is a long time enough 4 any serious organisation or institution 2 put it's acts 2geda. How old are Zenith Bank & GT Bank 4 instance? Are they not among the top 5 Banks in the country right now? Dusting the likes of Union & Mainstreet Banks? Abeg stop giving flimsy excuses ok? Food for thought 4 u, I guess. Right?
I got ur point, but u'll agree with me that it's almost impossible for an organization funded by the federal government to achieve such a feat. There is no gain saying the fact that many government institutions are seriously underfunded and the Nigerian universities is not an exception.

Personally I feel Unizik should look better than what is obtainable now, But in a country where misappropriation and embezzlement of public funds is seemingly the norm, Unizik is thus where it is today, infracstructurally.

Lastly, I think it would be unfair to compare a public institution/organization with a private organization where the level of adherence to good work ethics, as well as managerial disposition and accountability to drive home set goals is believed to be as important as the survival of the organization.

NOTE: I'm a student of Unizik and frankly speaking, the school management is doing almost nothing to give the school a face-lift. The school management is bad...

Like u said, they are not serious. Lol!

Peace!

The transfer process will have to start from ur school. Confirm from ur school the prerequisite for change of institution or transfer like u said. Though I think most schools would require u get to 200L before u'd be eligible to apply for a transfer.

I'm not in school now, rounded off my semester, buh I'll help u make enquiries when I resume for the next semester.

Which school are u know?

unizik just moved to their main campus in 1992 so works are still going on. So don't compare.

GodMode:

1992 that's over 20 years and you have the guts to use it as an excuse for the school's under-development... That's very bad of you..

UNIZIK didn't move to their permanent site in 1992. They did in 2003/2004. The University itself was established in1991 from the Awka campus of ANSUTECH (which was operating from rented apartments) while the main campus in Enugu became ESUT.

Its very bad of you to still be defending the underdevelopment of the university. The uni is over 20 yrs old and when they moved to their permanent site does not matter..

UNIZIK is a third generation university and not underdeveloped when compared to its peers.

Show me pictures of any government owned Nigerian university that is within the same age range as UNIZIK that is as developed in terms of infrastructures as UNIZIK.

UNIZIK is among the first 3 most sought after universities in Nigeria. So your chances of gaining admission in UNIZIK is almost zero because of too many applications with very high JAMB scores.

Faculty of Theater Arts Unizik has the best infrastructure nationwide. People like Oge Okoye, Queeneth, Ebube Nwagbo are all top stars in Nollywood all passed through Unizik Theater Arts. Go figure

Here are the Jamb-UTME statistics of the most sought after Universities after JAMB 2015 registration came to an end on the 8th February, 2015.

Out of the over 180 Universities in Nigeria, University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) had the highest number of JAMB UTME applicants with about 85,945 candidates seeking admission into the institution.

If your choice institution is UNILORIN, then you are in for a rough ride! No dulling or you might be left behind.

Find the 6 Top Most Sort After Universities in Nigeria, 2015 UTME.
* University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) 85,945 candidates
* University of Benin (UNIBBEN), which had over 60,020 applicants
* Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) with over 58,410 UTME applicants
* University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) – 57,539 applicants
* Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) – 52,785 applicants
* University of Lagos (UNILAG) – 49,059 applicants

These are the Universities with the highest number of applicants after registration for 2015 UTME.
Getting admission into any Nigeria University is not a day job, therefore, we advice all the Jamb 2015 Candidates to prepare adequately for the examination.

And not to forget the upcoming Aptitude Test also known as Post-UTME.
