Well said, I'm a gambler but I can never pay tithes with the money. Offering maybe, church donations, welfare but never tithes.

Few, if any, truly give the money to a good cause. Further, God does not need our money to fund His mission in the world. Proverbs 13:11 says, “Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.” God is sovereign and will provide for the needs of the church through honest means. Would God be honored by receiving donated drug money or money stolen in a bank robbery? Of course not. Neither does God need or want money that was “stolen” from the poor in the temptation for riches.

One of my philosophy is " there is always a wrong way to make things right, but no right way to make things wrong". Take for instance, a graduate who could not find a job for long but decided to try his luck through sports bets. If he wins and decides to invest the money. Can we say it is wrong of him to pay tithe or sow seeds with the money in church?
Sport betting are like money gotten from different individuals who without been compelled decided to try thier luck. Sports Betting is a business venture as stainless and unique as Lotteries, Stock/debenture/shares investment portfolios and the rest of the other business ventures that require forecasted income.
Pay your tithe because it is your effort, your income, your sweat and it is a way of showing appreciation for which God promises in the scriptures that he will bless you more.
