Got this papaya from Songhai farms Rivers state planted it on 5th April 2015. its already fruiting 3/8/15.

Shangai farm in rivers state is not in Afam area but in Tai LGA on d way to NYSC camp ,take bus going to Onne, drop at d juction before d turning to d camp , pick a bike to shangai farm .
S seedlings are sold for N200 each, they are 2 months old so it start flowing at 4 months after planting that means d plant is 6 months old
Am not sure they sell d seeds
Be carefull when transplanting b/c of d roots once any is cut d plant will die

If u plant 500 pcs ie N200x 500 pcs - N100,000
Plant 500 pcs on an acre u can plant soya beans or gnut or melon inb/w do a spacing of 4ft interval bw d pwpw
Soys b takes 3 months so is melon & gnut
Use poulty dung as manure not fertilizer so ur pwpw is organic

Then this is a good tree to plant on hired land. In case the owner goes greedy and decide to chase u away, u simply tell him: ok, u can take ur land. Very soon he'll start wondering why the pawpaw are dieing.

@dgitrader royal f1 is a hybrid papaya from east -west. This papaya is what most people call the Thai papaya.

They are doing fine. Have problems getting seeds from east-west seed company. But we have expanded. However we are doing "reverse engineering" on the papaya.
