Sahara reporters, as usual, economical with the truth preferring to exergerate for theatrics.

I wonder what kind of people make up such news group, why do I bother, it's not like they are aiming for the Pulitzer Prize anytime soon. They'll probably prefer to remain in the gutter of news reportage and kowtow to ACN (now merged to become APC).

Probe and jail ANYONE who has stolen public funds. Weather the are North or South, PDP or ACP it should not matter.

Where Buhari will face a BIG problem is if the probes are seen to be only targeted at PDP.

I wish Buhari strength and wisdom to clean up this country.

Buhari Buhari Buhari... Start the probe or rest the silly speculations.

The papers have been allowed to set agenda and name enemies for the President and country for too long.

Now, while whosoever visits Mr president is either doing it on behalf of Jonathan or against Jonathan... Buhari set your agenda, address the national marshal it out.... Politicking is over

This is a huge setback for the ACN members of the Pro-PMB army. Let's look at the facts.
* The APC were refused assistance by the Democrat Executive US government who have started cutting their losses
* The APC government were refused military assistance in terms of trade in arms and ammunition due to the terms of the Leahy act
* The Republican controlled house committee on oversight and reform two weeks later paid the president a visit and promised a look into reviewing the leahy act in relation to Nigeria
* A day after that Mr Ibe was made the GMD of NNPC
* A week later, rumors of a meeting between the president and his predecessor was reported
* Soyinka has started singing a different tune of the President's culpability in the supposed corruption scandals
* The media has been awashed with a unscheduled meeting between the President and Gen Obasanjo
* OBJ has started looking desperate in his frantic recent moves
* The fuel crisis has started to
abate
This rundown of events point towards a sort of compromise being forced down the President's throat. It's apparent that PMB has lost his major foreign supporters and so is looking for new alliances. If the reports of overtures being made are true, then the biggest losers in this new deal will be
* Tinubu
* Oyinlola
* Fashola
* Akande
* OBJ
* ACN faction, members, supporters and home region
* And eventually PMB

FACTS SAHARA REPORT AND APC WILL HIDE FROM YOU :

Abdusalami, Kukah, others caution Buhari on anti-graft war.

Members of the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections led by a former Head of State, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar (retd.), on Tuesday held a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari where they showed concern for the war against corruption under the present administration.
The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Kukah who spoke with newsmen at the end of the meeting held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, noted, that since the country was no longer under military rule, every accused person should be presumed innocent until found guilty by competent courts.
He revealed that the committee members prevailed on the president to ensure that his administration follows due process in its anti-corruption war.
There have been reports that former President Goodluck Jonathan had complained to the committee on the way the present administration had allegedly been victimising some of his aides and ministers on allegations of corruption.
Jonathan himself met with Buhari on Thursday evening on what many believed was on the same issue.
Kukah told journalists “It (the way corruption war is being fought) is not heating up the polity.
“In our conversation with President Jonathan and members of the parties, I don’t think any Nigerian is in favour of corruption or is against the President’s commitment to ensuring that we turn a new leaf.
“I think what we are concerned about is the process. It is no longer a military regime and under our existing laws, everybody is innocent until proven guilty.
Kukah said committee members at the meeting with Buhari gave update about the relevance of the committee itself and how members could help to nurture the peace God has given to the country.
Read also: Why Jonathan visited Buhari
He confirmed that members of the committee had met with Jonathan after meeting with some political parties.
He claimed the meeting with Buhari was not at Jonathan’s instance, saying the parley was a continuation of a series of intervention aimed at getting feedbacks from the conduct of the last elections.
Those who attended the meeting alongside Abubabakar, Buhari and Kukah included the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’Ad Abubakar III; the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor; Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh; Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan; a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs. Priscilla Kuye; Publisher of the Vanguard Newspapers, Chief Sam Amuka Pemu; National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and Senator Ben Obi among others.

So you think they will announce to the whole wide world that they went to beg on behalf of GEJ and in essence confirm his guilt making any prospective litigation a mere administration exercise

Think deep my broda...there is certainly no smoke without fire. The series of events and utterances by the presidency is pointing to one single thing which is PMB's defiance to probe as promised

However, i'm convinced GEJ will get a soft landing simply because Nigeria is just too damn complex but his trust lieutenants won't be so lucky

What are they hiding again? He should carry on the probe for every Nigerian to see how their wealth was looted. Do they think we are senseless voting PMB?

Realdeals:
Fall in crude oil prices is a major factor that is forcing PMB to probe past corruption cases. The government is handicap financially. Assuming the crude oil price is favourable to the economy PMB would have turn a blind eye to some of the cases.
...
i also believe that...it is only when one is in need of money that he remembers those that borrow money from him...PMB should be allowed to do the needfull

GEJ, PDP have since asked Buhari to go ahead with his probes

Why do some of you talk like ignorant and simple minded people like this?

GEJ and PDP have asked them to go ahead with the probes...is that supposed to mean that their hands are clean? Do you need an angel from heaven to come and reveal to you that PDP stole this country blind?

That Patience and Dieziani are now having health issues, how does this compare to the hundreds of pple that are now suffering or have even died as a result of all the millions and billions of dollars that have been stolen by corrupt officials?

If it's true they have stolen money then they shld just quietly return everything and their health issues will go away, rather than be greedy and keep all the money and wNt to continue walkin around freely. After all Buhari has said that the Govt is willing to enter a plea bargain with them whereby they return the money they have stolen in exchange for prosecution. Is this not what Abacha's family have been doin and are any of them in prison now, so they shld also do the same. Our infrastructure is in dire need of overhaul so the Govt needs the money.

They have been spared prison for the time being and they are still stalling and faking health issues to avoid returning the money, this is just pure greed.
