It is obvious and explicit that the use of calculators are restricted for post umte exams due to the intuition of a situation whereby the exam candidates might bring programmable or scientific calculators to the exam lyceum to aid them in exam malpractise. And also due to the dauntless fact of institution not being able to replicate or emulate Jamb's calculator policy, of which is to dispense basic and non-programmable calculators to their candidates before the instigation of the exam process. As a result of this, the mathematical aspect of the screening excise have not being palatable for its candidates due to another unfavourable factor of the confined duration of time alloted to them for the exam.

In other to find a perpetual panacea to such indignation, I came up with this saluburious brainwave explicating the use of the basic calculators that are often installed on every computers! so the use of CBT will exonerate us from every form of fustrations when calculating.

I am virtually certian that it will be allowed! and not "prohibited" because it not scientific, neither does it possess a programmable capacity(according to my evaluation on windows XP operating system).
It can soley be use for basic calculations, just like Jamb. but that does not mean you should not make efforts to enquire from the invigilators about whether to use it or not, before proceeding with such a studendous ploy smiley

this is how you can use the calculator, incase you are granted the permission to do so:
- click the "start" menu
- click on "All programs"
- click "Accessories"
- then select "calculator" to open it
- place it on the left top on your screen, so that it will not cover any important or delicate part your work.

CBT is terrific and benevolent! its time we swiftly embrace the it smiley
