May his highness soul rest in eternal bliss. As for the Oloris, God will be with them in this period of mourning.

Monogamy (or serial Polygamy) is a "Western" ideology, it has NOTHING to do with Christianity!

Even the best buddies of God the Father, have more then one wife!

From Pa Abraham who is resting in the bossom of the Lord and also know as "friend of God", to Uncle David who God Himself called "The Apple of my eye", the only person who could do ANYTHING and still get away with it, with God to even Bros Solomon whom God said hehas given wisdom like he had not given any before, whom God ordained to build Him a Temple where he can Chillax...... e.t.c

The "WEST" needed a formula that made "inheritance and sharing of property" EASY...and hence settled for Monogamy.... then criminalized polygamy so as to force Obedience to it even when it was obvious that it is unnatural and therefore being resisted.
.

Ofcourse, it benefits women since men naturally die earlier than women (due to all the wahala/brouhaha of acquiring wealth for the "wife" ) and the "only wife" stands to benefit from such a "greedy arrangement" .......so dont be surprised on realizing that women are monogamy's greatest proponent, even though they are also the "unwanted additional wife".!

But then, the Oyibos' created a "way out": marry, divorce, marry again, divorce again, as many times as you are able to!
Its called serial monogamy. Not different from polygamy except that it preserves the greed of the "one woman" bent on inheriting all the goodies

RIP to ooni, especially if he made peace with his creator before death. Its dangerous to go to eternity when in enemity with the God of eternity (sinful, unrepentant and unholy life). Only the 1st wife is legitimate wife, while others are illegal concubines. Meanwhile, how do he satisfy all of them, or do he have duty roaster for them? Hope is not excess sexual activity that contributed to his death through prostate disease or berry aneurysm.

I think you guys have got the ranking of the Oloris all wrong.

Two factors come into play here. The first is the attire they're wearing while the second is the amount of facial wrinkles they each have.
Going by these factors, the lady on the far left of the screen appears to be the first wife.

Why? she's on the same row with them but she's wearing a different iro and buba and even gele (this is a coded language for i am the eldest). This is also coupled with the fact that she actually looks older than the rest, making her consistent to be the Ooni's first wife, agewise.

Now, out of the four remaining Oloris, the two on the outside would be the next in rank (look at their geles closely and see how it differs from the two on the inside with the "netting pattern"wink while the two on the inside might be the youngest set. The dark lady looks fourtyish and she's wearing same gele with the "trouble maker" (no be me o!)

So, sorry guys, the natural beauty without makeup or jewellery may not be the first wife after all.

If, however, based on looks alone i could pick one of these women to be a godmother, i would first pick the natural beauty (as i'm sure most guys would) then the bespectacled lady in white as second choice.
