The recent European Union ban on Nigerian food products was more of a classic economic war than a health consideration.

The EU wants to armtwist Nigeria into a free Trade agreement that is heavily tilted in favour of European farm products and farmers than Nigerian products and farmers.

Nigeria should similarly retaliate, by banning certain European imports, as well as oil and gas leverage.
