I bought my phone October, it's been cool using it since then, just noticed foe some reason I can't explain my rear camera started showing black line as you can see from the attached and there's no crack or any visible thing blocking it.

Please what could possibly be wrong, someone opened it up today for me but couldn't see anything wrong.

I don't have a problem with Lollipop's security. Wouldn't you like to update yours to fix some bugs? Have u even read about Marshmallow features? It's worth upgrading for.

Though, during the first few months only few apps would work(Since developers would start making Android 6.0 patches for their apps) and I feel I can deal with that

You have to install VCOM drivers to your system first
Then learn how to use SP flash tool
Then get the TWRP for GIONEE M5 and use SP flash tool to flash it into your phone
Then Download Super SU and save it in your phone memory or SD card and boot into recovery by pressing power button + volume up button together and install the super SuperSU From your phone memory or mcard.
I posted a link on the full process a while ago. Just check my previous post and you'll see it.
