Indonesia passenger plane wreckage found in remote Papua

The wreckage of an Indonesian plane carrying 54 people has been found in the remote western Papua region, officials say.
The Trigana Air flight lost contact with ground control at 14:55 local time (05:55 GMT) as it flew from the capital Jayapura to the town of Oksibil.
A transport official said the aircraft had been found in the Bintang highlands region, not far from its intended landing site at Oksibil airport.
It is not yet known if anyone survived.
The wreckage was discovered by villagers, who then alerted officials.
"Residents provided information that the aircraft crashed into Tangok mountain," said the Indonesia's director-general of air transportation, Suprasetyo.
The ATR42-300 twin turboprop plane was carrying 44 adult passengers, five children and infants, and five crew.

It took off from Sentani airport in Jayapura at 14:21, but lost contact with air traffic controllers half an hour later.
An official search was suspended due to poor light.

This news is not good at all cos 99 percent if the time an aircraft goes missing,it ends up in going through d pieces in search of the black box.

People should learn how to boycott Malaysia airline and Indonesia airline,they are nothing but booby trap waiting to kill any passenger for sacrifices,be wise people!

So bad this is happening to the Asians, but its a wake up call to Nigeria..let's train our pilots more and I'm sure we can as well build a very standard aeroplane which can fly with less with less crash records , technology need to advice and let's look for a way we can avert a critical crash probably causing less injuries at crash, it hurt when people use their money to book for what will kill them at the end , it's so painful people are losing their lives in air disasters, we will never involved in any in Jesus name... AFP should corporate with the local authority and confirm correctly from the residents. If they have assured the sign of plane crash, then what are you waiting for.? AFP do your work and tell us the present ill new. Indonesia should conduct adequate investigation to ensure the airplane was not undergoing unpaired equilibrium due to over weight carrier. If so.... The airline should band.
