At the Mobile Word Congress 2015 in March, BlackBerry briefly revealed a slider phone apparently running on BlackBerry OS 10.3.

The company left several trails on the path of its mystery smartphone. No one could really decipher what BlackBerry planned to do next. Reports of a restructuring plan that saw its office in Sweden shut-down and 100 jobs terminated created an insight on the next moves of the Canadian mobile vendor.

It appears the restructuring plan included working with Google, by offering a secure and manageable device on Android using its new BES12 device management system. Details of the restructuring plan wasn’t revealed to the public when it was announced, but the prescript does align with the reality on ground at this tim..
