Lol, everybody complaining abt infinix hot 2, dudes, if u are on the latest build, just enter recovery mode and do factory reset from there not from the direct settings oo and make sure u update all Google apps from playstore. You will enjoy your phone mehn!. For me I have no problem with my hot 2 except d stupid notification bug!

For those getting signal 9 error on install the XUI rom should follow this; 1. boot to twrp recovery 2. select mount and check list i.system ii.cache iii.data iv.micro SDCard 3.(NB) do not check 'mount system partition as read-only' 4. procced to install and flash the xui zip files. #Done

If you are on Androidone ROM my advice to you is DO NOT ROOT YOUR PHONE, it will damage your phone little by little cause Google encrypted somethings on it and there are some crucial viruses out there be careful. Don't bother, all Androidone and Nexus phones shows 3g BT that doesn't mean dey don't have H+. The 3g is d same as H+
3G=3G network
H=3.5G network
H+=3.7G network
So they are still under 3G. Google it if u r not satisfied

Make sure the your phone's data access allows for background data access, also you might want to check the app you are using allows to download, make sure it's set to allow background data access.

Be sure you are not using the battery saver option as it restricts background data and allows foreground data access.

Yes your phone's downloading data in the background. And that's for update alone. Might be that you have yet to upgrade your phone with the updates made available.

If this persist, just click on whatever app is draining your data, Android OS in this case, and restrict background data, you might also restrict foreground data as you please.

Before you can can port in custom ROMs you'll have to first flash in the Infinix lollipop ROM and not androidone .
You can download it at Infinix support page.
The ROM is smooth. No issues for me. Supports OTG, fast charge, and a nice UI(XUI) etc...
And there are also a lot of nice ROMs you can port using the TWRP recovery.
