Police kindly resend the report. Even if the report is trekking from West Germany it will surely get here, except it's missing.

Irrespective of the Punch investigations, there is an official secret act in place, those who knows or ought to know will not readily disclose it.

Media hype by a pro Tinubu paper to keep the forgery issue relevant.
I do not like Saraki but Tinubu should just lick his wounds and move on, Nigeria is doing so.

[quote author=koboko69 post=37107188][b]The Nigerian police should know that this is no more an era where impunity will be allowed to thrive unlike the previous Government!

No body is above the law!

The Nigerian police should disclose the name of the PDP senators and let the ministry of justice proceed with prosecution, while the elected candidates under the dubious and forged orders should be shown the way out!!!! Are you not being baised?should the APC senators be found to be involved, would you retract your statement, for as much as is a senate wahala, lets try to keep it at that till otherwise proven

You are right. Unlike the previous government, Buhari, who is an animal, who does not know his right from his left. To the dunce call Buhari, whatever that done pose no problem provided GEJ government is pulled down. Even though Buhari is the most senseless and dullest president ever, it does not matter.

Why are we always biased?

PDP senators? What happens to APC senators? (Saraki and its loyalists)? What if they were found wanting? They will not be named? What if no PDP senators were involved? They should just name them because they are opposition?

I am not a fan of PDP, but always be true to ur stands.

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Dan’Azumi Doma, who was said to have signed the report, had recommended that the report be forwarded to the AGF to determine whether a crime had been committed or whether the alleged offence could be regarded as an internal affair of the Senate.

The police officer(Dan'Azumi Doma) that signed the initial report should be officially queried.
He is being clever by half. The main police job part of the job was to find out the people who committed the alleged crime.
This is the style they use to mess up serious crime cases from Bola Ige's murder, Funsho Williams etc.He deliberately avoided putting the names and the reasons why he did so could be because he has been bribed. angry

I thought Punch,in their initial expose, claimed a copy had been handed over to the Presidency and that prosecutions are due soon. That copy missing too?.
Buncha idiots, there's no case,no forgery.Senate rules are the affairs of the Senate.Anybody who don't like it should get two-thirds the Senate to change it.

Funny how a such a sensitive report got missing in transition. But if it's a case of someone stealing food from the market, the report will not go missing. Those responsible should be made to account for this negligence cos am sure something is being hid from us. Imagine the police supposedly confirmed that an act was criminally executed, only to send it to ministry of justice to see if the crime was really committed. We are simply being mocked.
Re: Senate Forgery: Police Report’s Whereabouts Unknown -PUNCH by lukumanbabatund: 10:38am On Aug 19, 2015
Abegi. Why will the Police who allegedly confirmed a forgery now passed their acclaimed discovery to the ministry of justice for confirmation.
There is absolutely no forgery at all anywhere else why seek collaboration from any ministry of justice to second your claim?
They must produce their clam o or be made to dance to the tune they have played.
Re: Senate Forgery: Police Report’s Whereabouts Unknown -PUNCH by IsraeliAIRFORCE: 10:56am On Aug 19, 2015
Having opined earlier that this is an internal affairs of the Senate which the Executive and Judiciary have no overriding authority hence the Police and the Justice Ministry have learnt and seen their mistakes in dabbling into an internal affairs of an independent organ of Government where the Senators have a well organised procedure of dealing with such matters better than the Judiciary.

The Executive goofed and is trying to save themselves of intending shame should they proceed with the case.

This matter died the day 81 senators (75%) passed a vote of confidence on Senate Leadership. As they say, you don't cry more than the bereaved to avoid being suspected.

How are you so sure that it is the pdp senators that allegedly forged the senate standing rules. The article above stated that "some group of senators" was there pdp in the quote?

Please let's learn to be objective in our analysis so we can all be enlighten.

The 13-page police report had reportedly confirmed that the amendment of the 2011 version of the Senate Standing Orders to produce the 2015 edition was “criminally done” as it was carried out by only a group of senators.

The police report, however, failed to indict any particular person and also did not recommend anybody for prosecution.

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Dan’Azumi Doma, who was said to have signed the report, had recommended that the report be forwarded to the AGF to determine whether a crime had been committed or whether the alleged offence could be regarded as an internal affair of the Senate.

To sabi read and write no translate to being educated
In the same statement where "criminally done" was used implying that a crime is known to have been committed, they are still undetermined whether it is a crime or an alleged offence? Moreover, they failed to indict anybody for this supposed crime grin

We have a canny new Head in NNPC and we are already feeling the positive effects almost immediately.

Baba needs to remove all unproductive vestiges of GEJ/PDP regime to have a roundly robust Federal Government. The following bodies need new NNPC-like re-invigoration: EFCC, ICPC, Police, Custom and Immigration, and NPA.

Obviously many Senators (armed with 30+ million naira) are using the recess to clean-up their messes. Baba needs incorruptible hands everywhere these looters have issues to achieve meaning results in the current fight against corruption in our polity.
