There is a huge difference in terms of mentality, predisposition to the tenets of democracy and the general approach to governance. Compare Yaraduas regime with Obasanjos, compare the early stages of jonathans regime with that of Buhari. . If this country started off with a pure civillian, we would have been better off in terms of entrenching democratic norms. . Now this point doesn't neget the fact that in certain areas like handling of the military and averting say coups, obasanjo could have done better. . But on more serious issues like the economy, infastructural development, managing inter ethnic relations in a diverse state like ours, long term economic planning etc, Olu Falae, who contested against obasanjo would have done better. . My opinion.
