I am a Furniture Maker I am specialised in Boards work (MDF,HDF). The dimension of the walldrop you uploaded is 3x6 Feet and the depth is 18inches +. If you want to consider costing for the walldrop 3 Boards will be Ok. But I will advice you go for 4x6. But if you are considering cost you can either use MDF all through or HDF, or simply combine both board meaning HDF use for the stands and MDF for the Partitioning. The Major thing is the Finishing. Once the Finishing is Great no one can differentiate from the both. For kitchen cabinet go fully for HDF.

How about sharp sand

Laterite is better than sharp sand for Filling.. Offcourse, it needs to be done properly in layers of about 300mm and compacted while wetting it..

Sharp doesn't need this process but that doesn't make it better.
Eg, can Sharp sand be used in ROAD CONSTRUCTION for Filling? No.

Correct but procedure is highly technical, you will need damper proof b4 filling, you must not allow water underneath to get a good result. No matter how you fill with laterite if water get in from top or under it will still compact, but sharp sand is once with million of water it will not change position.

I hv no disadvantage of Sharp Sand as filling is only expensive.

For road yes it is used in swamp area the end laying will be pave stone.

MDF
Medium-density fibreboard is an engineered wood product made by breaking down of hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming it into panels by applying high temperature and pressure.

HDF
High Density Fibreboard/Hardboard is like MDF in that it is a man-made composite panel product that is manufactured from compressed wood fibres. ...

The Dimension is 4 x 8 feet.

The 1st Upload is HDF, the 2nd MDF and the 3rd is the Layers of the Boards how it's Covered and it comes in different Colours and Hardness

Budget 4 to 5 boards depending on the Partitioning inside the Walldrop but 5 boards will give you a Perfect Job. And 1 (3mm) slim Board for the back covering.

The poster has raised some valid points for you to consider before going ahead to continue to push this product/service to the public...

Or are you saying categorically that the LASG Waste Water Management Board (according to your response) has inspected and certified your product?

Hello, this post below is curled from @jabolo 's response to a similar product and also applies to the Digester you are recommending.

Please confirm that your product follows this system or similar and state here if your product has been inspected and certified fit-for-purpose by the relevant govt authority e.g. State Waste Water Board. Please post such certificate if you have one.

If otherwise, kindly stop bombarding us with pictures of an unproven technology with potential safety implications.

Thanks

Innovation is always welcome but you need to research this system properly before you lend it your name and reputation. Especially in the Nigerian context.

I have three areas of concern.

1. Anaerobic action involves the absence of oxygen. Your chambers have to be airtight.

2. Where we used this, the system had to be ‘seeded’ with the special bacteria for the digestion. The bacteria action was continuously monitored as they are susceptible to things like bleach or other toilet cleaners.

3. With both of the above directly affecting the efficacy of the process, I wouldn’t be as blasé as you seem to be, in suggesting the effluent can simply be introduced into our environment or reused domestically. Again, where we used it, regulations enforce continuous monitoring and testing of the effluent before allowing it to be ejected.

The responsible thing to do would be to first offer your system prototype to whatever entity regulates environmental matters and discharges (water board?) for rigorous testing and Nigerian certification.

Yes I believed that I have answered this question earlier.
But here is it again, the system is certified by Lagos state waste management board, they do check round anywhere the system project is going on.
Although the system is not new but only people knows it here in Nigeria but it’s been in existence in Europe and other part of Africa.
It’s been adopted in Usa , China, India, Italy, and some Northern part of Europe like Sweden etc.
Not only human feces and animal dung can generate gas(biogas ) agricultural waste, food waste are also good

The Lagos State Government in Nigeria has embarked on a anaerobic digestion project to produce energy from waste at a demonstration facility.

The city, the country's commercial capital, is home to some 21 million residents who produce around 10,000 tonnes of waste each day.

The Lagos Waste Management Authority is responsible for the project, which uses rotting fruit waste to produce biogas that is then used to generate electricity.

The authority plans to increase the capacity of the project to some 25 MW in the next five years.

Currently the city has problems with intermittent power supplies and residents often have to rely on diesel generators, which the waste to energy project is helping to alleviate.”

Lagos abattoir converts cow waste to biogas
By Chinedum Uwaegbulam
09 September 2019 | 4:04 am

Conversion of animal waste to biogas is being heralded as the next enabling technology, which will boost the off-grid lighting market in the country.

The biogas, produce from the plant is currently being use to power the Ikorodu Mini Abattior, at Ebute road, Ikorodu, Lagos State for close six hours every day. The tripartite project, which commenced September last year was completed and commissioned recently.

The biogas plant is expected to save the abattoir substantial funds used in buying fuel for its generators. The plant will also produces organic fertilizer. The project was between Lagos State government, Friends of the Environment (FOTE) and HIS Biogas.

Essentially, the project was based on design, build, supply and maintain basis. The plant will be capable of converting organic waste through the installation of four 5,000-litre digester tanks, and fed with digestible organic waste and concentrated wastewater from the abattoir.Since the completion of the project, the animal waste, which was hitherto a challenge and burden to dispose to the abattoir, has been channeled to the plant, which now supply electricity and pumping water to the facility.

Not only that, the organic fertilizer produced from the plant is now been sought after by farmers to nourish their vegetable and other planted crops in their farm.

The Ikorodu Mini Abattior, Prince Osindeinde Adebiyi, who spoke on the impact of the biogas plant during a visit to the facility recently, disclosed that between 35 to 45 cows are slaughtered at the abattoir everyday and the waste channeled to the plant to produce gas to generate light and boil water for use in the abattior.

He explained that power produced through the gas generated lights up the abattoir for close to six hours every day while the public supply is used for the remaining part of the day.

Adebiyi added that the conversion of the animal waste to biogas as helped to eliminate odour that is usually synonymous to any abattoir and regular supply of water to the facility, “No more odour in the environment, you cannot perceive any odour”, he insisted.

He commended FOTE and partners for their efforts in delivering the plant and ensuring that it functions well even after completion.

Representative of TOGATA Renewable Technology, the designer of the facility and Project Manager, Aniche Phil-Ebosie, an engineer, disclosed that the technology was derived from Germany but was a bit expensive which prompted the organization to look inward and came with idea of using pvc water tank which can last for decades.

He explained that 90 per cent of the materials used for the plant were sourced locally, which made it cost effective and environment friendly. He added that the bigger the abattoir and number of cows killed per day, the better it will be to get organic waste.

check for a nearby dustbin, these ants are mostly found around dustbins and they don't often come out and I've always seen them coming out raining periods like this...spray them will fleet and try look around if there is a dustbin around. Nothing to panic chief and if u found them around your dustbin, kerosene will handle them
