You hardly see cracks. In difficult situations of getting good sand I do apply another methodology to get minimal tiny crack in one or two places if the work is gigantic one .

While In some area they used only one type of soft- sharp sand as sharp and at the same time used it as plaster sand ( in this situation experience count to get good result

There are very good plaster sands, identifying them is key though.

And some use fine sharp sand which doesn't crack.
