60 x 60 tiles have 4pcs in a carton, meaning that 1 carton has 1.44 square metres.

While wall tiles of 40 x 25 have 15pcs in a carton, meaning that 1 carton has 1.50square metres.

From the foregoing, you can easily get the number of cartons required for the project by dividing the measured areas by the respective carton square metres.

So i noticed my screeder first of all used black Cement to do a first layer of screeding, then did a second layer with the white one. I'm only familiar with that white one, is this a new method these days? Or is it because of dampness to make it more durable?

Not really, it's a light weight version of mdf. Easy to convey or couple.

Your roof frame is done and ready to receive covering. At this point reducing the height means that you will have to dismantle all the rafters, purlins,kingposts, structs, ridges and valleys as all would be affected. Practically you are starting a new roof frame.

Roof pitch is a factor of design. Assuming you wanted a high or low pitch roof, you should have monitored the kingpost at the design and formation stage and not now that the job is 100 percent done.

Cost of deconstructing this roof frame may be as much as the cost for constructing the frame.

This is not as easy as you think.

let's say a standard self contain takes 700 blocks, it might not be upto 600blocks

(1) 700 x 250= 175,000

700block÷70 will give you the required number of cement to lay the block= 8bags of cement

(2) 15bags of cement x 4,500= 67,500

(3) you can run half DPC

(4) 1 trip of sand will be enough at 35k

(5) Gravel 1 tipper, there will be leftover 50k or less

(6) iron and wood for lintel and pillars plus workmanship for a self contain budget 60k

Taking a house to lintel level is not quite expensive and very easy. The main spending comes in after lintel level.

So with 500k or less you will get a self contain to lintel level.

You are paying community 250k for building a self contain. For what?

By my calculation 750k for 1088sqm. Therefore 750,000/1088

Which give us 690per sqm.
