kudos to the op and other contributors on this post. i want to ask a question. i bought 6 (4 weeks old) broilers and 2 turkey from a nearby farm and wish to rear them for consumption. they are kept together in a small farm i created at my backyard. the question is, Is anything wrong with keeping them together? when can i deworm them. what else do i need to do. for now they all look healthy

it is tender when touched...no they don't bend....I just noticed about three...please where is their stomach area?

Pls separate them from others Sometimes it maybe an inflammation which we normally treat with antibiotics for 3 days

Are they raised from same farm
If yes then let's watch if u notice anything then we can know what to do
Bit if not same farm Pls watch very very closely for any out break

30 days and most deworming withdrawal period is 21 days.
Meaning if you deworm, you should raise to 56 days (8 weeks) minimum before disposal.

Deworming makes them stay healthier and grow faster than broilers who are not dewormed.

Use Apa ivermectin L oral solution or any ivermectin based drug (normally use to deworm in livestock). Its very effective

Another solution organically is to put garlic in their water and all the lice/mites/worms will be gone

I just got my 4 week old broilers yesterday, 30 of them. this thread is very educative. I did not give them any drugs or anything and so far, they're doing good. fingers crossed.

Please I need help. Some of my 5 weeks old broilers are bringing bubbles from nose and always closing their eyes even when standing. What drugs do I administer. Currently giving them drugs for coccidiosis as they were passing blood in their droppings. I got these birds at 4 weeks ooooo.
