Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, (AAUA) Undergraduate Application Form is Out (Part Time) for 2015/2016 academic session

Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates for admission into the underlisted B.Sc Degree programmes of the Institute of Part-Time Programmes (IPTP), Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.
UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES

B.Sc. Accounting

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Advanced Level passes in Accounting and at least any one of Economics, Mathematics and Business Management in addition to the Ordinary Level requirements.
Pass in the whole of the Foundation Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or any other recognized Accountancy body or pass in Part II in all the stages of the Accounting Technicians Scheme; ND in Accountancy with at least Credit pass from any recognized higher institution in addition to O/L requirements. All such candidates must however possess the basic O/L requirements.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Commerce and any two other subjects.



B.Sc. Banking & Finance

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Candidates must possess Credit passes in at least five relevant subjects in SSCE/GCE O/L or NECO.
Candidates who scored a minimum of Credit in ND in relevant discipline(s) in any recognized institution.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, one other Social Science or Arts Subject.



B.Sc. Geography & Planning Sciences

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

In addition to the O/L requirements, candidates must possess Geography in the GCE A/L or its equivalent. ND in related courses like Town Planning, Surveying, Environmental Management, Estate Management or other related subjects provided they have graduated with ND at Credit level.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Geography and two other Social Science subjects at not more than two sittings.



B.Sc. Public Administration

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

In addition to the O/L requirements, candidates must possess ND from recognized institutions in a relevant discipline at credit level.
Candidates who scored a minimum of Credit in ND in relevant discipline(s) from any recognized institution.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes at not more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE O/L or its equivalent including English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, one subject in the Social Sciences and any other subject.



B.Sc. Economics

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

ND in relevant discipline(s) from any recognized institution provided the student possesses a credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Government, Geography, Accounting, Commerce, and History at the SSCE, GCE O/L or its equivalent.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes at not more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE O/L or its equivalent including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Government, Geography, Accounting, Commerce and History at the SSCE O/L or its equivalent.



B.Sc. Pure & Applied Psychology

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

In addition to the O/L requirements, candidates must possess ND in Psychology from any recognized institution. Registered Nurses (RN) may also be considered for Direct Entry admission.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology and two other subjects.



B.Sc. Business Administration

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

In addition to the O/L requirements, candidates must possess a minimum of credit passes in at least two relevant subjects at the GCE A/L or at least Credit in ND in Business Administration from a recognized higher institution.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects from Commerce, Accounting, Geography and Government.



B.Sc. Sociology

4 years (Direct/200 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Candidates must possess Credit passes in at least five relevant subjects in SSCE/GCE O/L or NECO.
In addition to the O/L requirements, candidates must possess ND in related courses as Social Work, Social Policy, Social Administration, Public Administration and other related fields as determined by the Department.

5 years (100 Level Entry)

Admission Requirements

Minimum of at least five O/L credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Government and two other Social Sciences/Arts subjects.

NOTE: Candidates that do not have current JAMB Registration Numbers will have to undergo regularization with JAMB after admission.


AAUA Undergraduate Programmes Method of Application (Part Time)

Application form for Undergraduate Programmes is ₦13,500.00. Application payment should be made to any of the following Banks:

Candidates should collect e-Transact generated receipts for the online registration on AAUA website.

AAUA Undergraduate Programmes Application Closing Date

Online registration shall close on Friday, 4th September, 2015.

NOTE

Candidates are to check the University website after the closure of the portal from Wednesday, 9th September, 2015 to print the details of date of examination.
