Nigerians that actually accomplish tangible stuff in business?, in science? etc. someone like that Dr Benet that is getting a hollywood movie about his discovery of the brain disease in NFL in America... they are many better people for such honors that are not politicians

This is the sole reason we are not taken serious in UK and U.S. If you show up in UK, U.S, Canada, etc with our first degree, no blue chip company will offer you a job till you acquire their own degree.

Reason is simple, we dash and award degrees to the highest bidder.
Patience Jonathan collected more than 3 honourary degrees when the husband held sway in government.

Tinubu has gotten the first for being king of the West.

Watch how PMB will be awarded soon by many mushroom universities.

The question i ask is for what reasons are they awarded. Why was PGEJ not awarded before the husband became president. Was Osun Univeristy founded in 2015, why now?

Dont get me wrong. Am happy for him. Just concerned about the motive and the image we paint about our education...
