1 if i were to update the operating system in n96 to the latest versions wil it hidder the in built dstv reciver from working anymore

am in benin i want to know if my n96 wil view tv and how much per month. also how do i activate it.

@arthuryemi pls dont tamper with ur phone while the downloading udating is taking place to avoid bricking ur phone .n96 firmware update OTA is about 5mb to 6mb unlike the nokia pc software updater that takes upto 150mb to update.

@arthuryemi if u update ur n96 firmware to the latest version, ur mobile dstv inbuilt will still be working fine. But the best way to update ur n96 phone is over the air OTA. Just recharge ur mtn with N500, send a text 130 to 131 mtn will reply u dat ur sim has been activated for 24hr browsing. Make sure ur battery is charging. Type *#0000# then option then check for update .by the way what is ur firmware version?

@yinkade mine is working perfectly. Go to ur mobile tv options-settings-restosre mobile tv settings ,if it asks 4 code,just type in 12345 after that u perform the same operation u did for subscription. Make sure u have atleas N20 on ur acct  balance.
