One Sule Aladi, who reportedly had her face bathed with acid by her alleged lover, Kazeem Abdullahi, has cried out from her hospital bed.

The patient, DAILY POST recalls, was poured acid by her said lover a few months back, when she broke up with him, accusing him over alleged infidelity.

According to the 25-year-old, Abdullahi had promised to destroy her beauty so that no man can have her and he reportedly carried out the threat by bathing her with acid.

The Kogi state-born is currently bedridden at the Federal medical center in the state capital, Lokoja.

Aladi, who has part of her face, back, right leg, ear, and one eye burnt by the acid has been crying for help from well-meaning Nigerians.

Speaking with newsmen from the female ward of the FMC, she sobbed: “I need help from Nigerians. I need their prayers and support to help me get well.

“All I’m after is to be able to walk again. Presently, I cannot put my leg on the ground. I know I am already disfigured.

“I also know that Kazeem has succeeded in his plan. He vowed to destroy me and he has succeeded, yet he once professed his undying love to me. Right now, I don’t care about my body or look again; I just hope I can walk.

“I never knew love could turn out to be this hurtful,” Aladi added.
