Kincl (also known as Fr. Bob Kincl), who was ordained in Rome. The investigation revealed that Robert L. Kincl had even written the authorities, not to charge the pedophile who molested the young boys, but urged them to send him back to serve as a chaplain:

Catholic chaplain Lt. Robert Hrdlicka pleaded guilty to molesting boys in 1993. Before his sentencing, six other Catholic Navy chaplains and the church’s archbishop for the military services urged authorities to send Lt. Hrdlicka to a church-run treatment center.

It is not surprising to see how far reaching homosexuality has gone in the Vatican. What other deviancies will enter the Vatican in the next decade remains to be seen. Whatever happened to normal sin? In the good old days, steeling a chicken perhaps constituted such sin, but these days, its sleeping with it.

Christianity is not about sycophancy, its about war against evil and the devil. We must arm ourselves to fight in this war.

The Pope is enacting what the bible says about pulling sinners close and not castigating them for their sins. How would one convert sinners if all you is scorn and distance them?
Jesus(if he existed) was a man who could dine amongst thieves as well as holy men respectively so I see no reason why 'men of goat' these days think themselves holier than though.

I've done a little research for myself and found out its only in recent times homosexuals get castigated. Most historical text show humanity embraced these acts and it was free for all to engage in without chastisement. African tribes were known to marry off both efeminate and gay males to heterosexual males who would still've female wives. The thought behind the action was two wives(gay man + wife) would provide better care and ensure offspring survived better than having only one wife.

I dont think any religion will encourage homosexuality

The Church is the Body of Christ. And the Anus and Breast, like the Pestle and Mortar are gifts of God too to complete that body. Because God abhors wastes, noone has the Righteousness to misuse or waste any of the Gifts of God in that body. Has God ever told anyone that Popes, Bishops, Priests etc cannot go to hell, hades and sheols? There are many Imams there and so are sheiks, monks, nuns etc. May God help us all.
