The Saudi Civil Defence authority confirmed the figure of casualties on Twitter.

At least 65 people were killed when a crane crashed in Makkah’s Grand Mosque on Friday, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defence authority said on its Twitter account.

It said nearly 80 people were injured as well.

I think what was build is not tower, but mataf pillar and is done in order to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims. And I believe it is done with good intention and not for proud.

So, the Allah they were praying to could not even save them? Same thing that happened at TB Joshua's church? Where he can see Airplanes crashing in different countries but can never see his building collapsing

When will people learn that prayer changes nothing? Coz whether you pray or not, what will be; will be. What prayer does is to give you hope. I wonder why people will be praying and construction is going on sef
