EMMAACHILE: It's advisable for it to be minimum of $2000. These are what I was told by the VA.
1. You need a us LLC for dropshipping except if you are doing private level. Cost $500 or more
2. Fees for vas where minimum is around $300.
With $1000, you can make an average of $300 every two weeks and likely $600-$700 monthly before charges.
The little money left might be too small to run. Assuming you have your store opened with LLC if you are in Nigeria, then a $1000 could still be enough.
EMMAACHILE: It's still possible but you may have to run it yourself. Let me contact the vas I know and ask whether it's possible to run a $1000 account with them.
If I have $2,000 and I want to outsource my store. I believe this $2,000 is going to remain in my card while the VAs use it to buy goods and ship to buyers. Please, is this correct? Yes. The cash will be in your card while you attach it to the sites where you are to source the products. Meaning the VA should never have details of the card. They will only get details of the website where the goods are to be purchased.
2. If I'm outsourcing a store, do I still need to pay for all those subscriptions? Like product research tools and inventory management tools. Do I need to still pay for them or is the VA going to work with their own tools? Most vas will use their own tools to run the store. There are apps that can take 1000 different stores at a time. Most of the payments will be their labour
3. With the $2,000, for instance, how much is the actual charge of the VA and how much is going to be left for the purchase of goods? It's not fixed. Some are charged based on your profit or some are fixed. Some vas can charge as low as $200 first month.
4. Since a store won't pick up sales immediately, what are the VAs going to be doing exactly within the first few days? Or are they going to be running marketing campaigns to boost the shop? Amazon dropshipping doesn't need marketing except if you are running private label. The vas will be listing items to sell and do customer service too. At this stage, you will need only a VA to run everything. A good VA should start getting sales almost immediately the store starts.
I think these are the ones I could remember for now. Please, answer. Thanks.
Chai.. I wish my 1k can just grow and become 2k now now Baba God pick my call.

Anyways, at the end it all boils down to how much were u able to keep? As for running our businesses near a smelling oil rags (gutters ); I can only say, this is nigeria. May God bless our hustle

God bless you for me sir ... I can't thank u enough.
Maxup: Great stuff sir.If one were to have $2000 for instance to outsource,I'm assuming the person is more or less like an investor in Amazon?
What would be the roi?
How would it be paid: weekly, biweekly or monthly?
Is there any risk of the capital loss(ie the $2000) or ,the roi not been paid by the managers as at when due?
What would be the maintenance /admin fees, overhead costs,if any?
And,how long would the outsourcing last.Is it for a definite period of time subject to renewal?
Please ,kindly clear these areas sir. . God bless and well done!!
Welcome on board sir; kindly go through this topic from the first page cos Mr Emma has dished out alot of goodies With spices that is worth a million dollar.
EMMAACHILE: @mrbock Plenty questions but I will answer them.
1. If you outsource the amazon store, do you pay the management fee upfront or after sales? Depends on the team involved. Some take their pay weekly, others monthly and some upfront.
2. Do you source the products yourself or the guys managing handles That? They handle everything.
3. What's the total cost to run it successfully Depends on size of store. Average from $500-$3000 per month.
4. Do you run both Shopify and amazon simultaneously, if yes how do you manage both and what is the capital required? Answer should be can you run both? You can even run the three (Amazon, Ebay, Shopify) together if you have the resources and you are outsourcing. If you are using more than a platform, you will need a multichannel site like www.storeautomator.com or its like to coordinate all operations in one place.
5. Do you eventually plan to cut out the management guys and run it yourself , if yes what's the process (are they like tutorials or generally what's your big picture) Never. You could change the employees but not recommended to run all yourself. You can perform some work on your own if you are chanced to do it. Eg if I can fulfill orders, I could do that part and leave the other remaining operations for the employees.
You can leave out outsourcing only if you use programs that can automate the whole operation for you if your store is fully busy. Eg is www.sparkshipping.com that can fulfill, send tracking updates to customer and owner of account, sync inventory of store with supplier quantity but it's mostly required for an already running store. The more you learn Amazon, the more you will leave your 8-4 office work and the more the belief to even earn $1,000,000
I will post a link for a good course for $1. It's for Amazon FBA.
U are really a great man and one of a kind.. May God continue to bless u and ur family. Amen
EMMAACHILE: Maybe in the future, if there are many interested persons, I could come over there in Lagos for some small tutoring.
That's cool sir but if I may suggest, why not conduct an online tutorial for those who are truly interested so the distance won't be a barrier for us. I really do not mind travelling down to wherever you are willing to host the tutoring sir
EMMAACHILE: Do you really need a one on one tutorial? It depends on the amount you have sha. If you have at least from $2000, you can still outsource it for the first few months to grow it while learning at the same time.
Have just a thousand dollars ($1k) and Little change extra sir
As for the one-on-one tutorial, I'm serious sir. I'm in lagos
EMMAACHILE: Everyone will like it. For those in the USA with good credit report, I can link with someone who has a package for loans from $60k upto $350k. When we say abroad has opportunity, I only see the USA above others.
Sir, I have been following this topic even before this thread was opened Please I would like to invest my allowee savings in this before snake will locate it (it's not up to 36m o )
