Wigan Athletic host Arsenal at the JJB this Saturday, 15.00 GMT.

     Wigan Athletic seem to be quite erratic; they lost 4 - 0 to Everton in their last Prem game, and won the game before that against Hull City. Steve Bruce has got his hands full at the moment with deciding on whether to keep striker Amr Zaki at the club or not. Up till now, the player is yet to return from his recent international duty. Right now it's not likely he will feature in Saturday's game, especially as he is said to have a hamstring injury.
     Wigan have shown they can do fairly well without the striker, and against an injury-ravaged Arsenal, I'm sure they can get something if they work hard.

     Arsenal are currently 4th on the Prem table with 58 points. Hopes of winning the Prem this season should be long dead, but a win will not hurt in anyway. 3 points will put them closer to Chelsea and further away from the clutches of Aston Villa. A loss? Closer to A.Villa.
     Manager Arsene Wenger is also faced with a lot of injuries, again. Players on the injury list include Manuel Almunia, William Gallas, Nasri (virus), Diaby, Eduardo da Silva, Robin Van Persie, and Tomas Rosicky.
     Nasri and RVP are expected to be available for Saturday's game.  .  .our NL sources at the Emirates will keep us informed.

     Arsenal have been in good form of late, especially since the return of captain Cesc Fabregas. But now, with Almunia and Gallas out, it's possible they could have defensive issues. They should have no problems with the attack and MF though, so the odds are currently in their favor for this game.
