Then comes the issue of allowances, as none had been paid to them as at the time of the their crash to Burkina Faso in the semi-final of the All Africa Games. Question is, who owns this U-23 team, the Nigeria Football Federation or the National Sports Commission? Agreed that the NSC takes responsibility for sporting events such as this, but are the national teams also the property of the NSC? Is it the responsibility of NSC to provide jerseys for the national teams even when the NFF have kit sponsors? Nigerians would always have excuse to justify their failure. Are U telling us that the jersey was the reason you lost to Burkina Faso? I see nothing wrong with amateur players washing their jersey.
