Siasia
By Sab Osuji In Brazzaville:
Those who have watched the U-23 national team here in Congo in the course of their ill-fated All Africa Games men’s football event gold medal hunt will discover that the Samson Siasia-led boys have played all their matches so far with only one set of jerseys.
Late evening visitors to the team’s camp will also discover that the players wash their jerseys after each match by themselves.
Then comes the issue of allowances, as none had been paid to them as at the time of the their crash to Burkina Faso in the semi-final of the All Africa Games.
Question is, who owns this U-23 team, the Nigeria Football Federation or the National Sports Commission?
Agreed that the NSC takes responsibility for sporting events such as this, but are the national teams also the property of the NSC?
Is it the responsibility of NSC to provide jerseys for the national teams even when the NFF have kit sponsors?
Rhe U-23 players are Nigeria’s semi senior national team and deserve better kitting and care.

...

Guy relax. If you have a bone to pick with Buhar, send a PM to barcanista. He'll tutor you on how to be a fairly responsible member of the opposition.

To blame Buhari for this allegation, which is unfounded as of the moment, is at best infantile.

For the first time in recent history, our government had a positive approval rating in all polls.

People are generally saying electricity has improved nationwide and you are there blaming the President when the Director General of the National Sports Commission has previously told the world tha the Presidency approved and re funds early for the games?

Nigeria don't encourage or take care of our talents and everyone is rushing to go find some more talents. Senseless!
If you discover your talents, seek private sponsorship if you can't peacefully cross Europe to grow if not, s o r r y will be your surname. I talk from personal encounter with one of our players.

God help Nigeria!

Nigerians would always have excuse to justify their failure.

Are U telling us that the jersey was the reason you lost to Burkina Faso?

I see nothing wrong with amateur players washing their jersey.

Have you Even asked yourself why Players dont swap jersey after a Nigerian league match?

Sometimes they use one home jersey for a full Season.
