According to Ben Carson at the Republican presidential debate
"America was built by the man who has 1billion dollars, so it makes no sense to take part of his billion dollars and split it into chunks to be shared to others in the nation. Rather it would be better to create a hospitable and economic friendly environment that will help him make 2 billion dollars, so that he can put in 1 billion dollars into the economy"

There is no where in the democratic world that a President fights with the top echelon of its society and gets away with it. Elumelu and his brother have done nothing but try to reach out to the president, since the inception of this administration, even at the expense of the past President.
