Godwin Ekpo a keke Marwa rider who has been battling for his life after a policeman shot him at a check point in Isheri- Ijegun has died of his injuries. The incident also claimed the life of his wife on the spot. It will be recalled that on Wednesday, September 16 2015, a trigger happy police officer, Aremu Musiliu, opened fire at the couple and their children while returning from church for refusing to part with N100 bribe. The bullet pierced through the back of the tricycle, killing the wife who was breast feeding her 3 month old baby, while another bullet hit the husband on the jaw. |
