Sannu, no vex. My Hausa is really half-baked. I was born in the north but unfortunately never learnt the language. What I was saying up there was just my name.

Noted. Mungode...ina sanka( I understand the genders). Good one! Thanks a ton! For a girl that grew up in kano I'm so shamed I couldn't get by in Hausa. I mostly have to rely on my Edo friend who speaks it better than her language. I believe I would learn with the speed of light if I do actual conversations with a flunct Hausa speaker though my said friend wouldn't be too bothered to indulge me. Still gingered sha!

There are lot of Hausa speakers in Kano if you are still there.
