Base score will definitely be affected, so make hay while the sun shines.

Please house I want to know if the changes taking place from the 6th of June will affect the general base CRS scores. I don't know if I should try and rush everything now so as not to get caught up with 6th of June date or just take my time and do it properly.

The base score these days have been low which makes it easy for one to qualify for the ITA. Please I need an advice

@Zandora,
I have an MBA executive from OAU , is it equivalent to Canada masters? Or should I use my BSC?

Please how did you request for your transcripts?

1: Cheaper fees for permanent residents.

2: laws and policies are liable to change anytime. UK was once smiling and many rushed in hoping to smile after study. However, the policy changed and dashed their hope before the end of their study.

Apart from above two points, I don't see why I shouldn't try it now, if I am qualified too. I have introduced some of friends with Msc qualification into it, and am wondering why I shouldn't try if I can get "two cert" with my current qualification. No big deal in trying, they say.

The Nysc issue is there. I don't think I can claim 1 year, considering that Nysc is 11months + 1 month leave. Apart from that, my set was the start of two streams in one batch and I was second batch which resume camp one month after stream 1 but completed service with them. So, I literally served at my ppa (a public sec sch) for 10months.

Any opinion or advise from you and others is highly welcomed.
1year is also equal to 1440hrs of full time employment based on IRCC definition. Calculate the number of hrs u worked

how does a veterinary doctor goes about assessing his transcript for CIC purpose. Thanks in anticipation of ur responses.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Gymme(m): 7:05am On Apr 17, 2017
Just the normal way other degrees are evaluated. I only know of WES. They evaluate such degree as Bachelor of Veterinary medicine, 5 years. If you are looking licensing, you would have to go through the board.

Happy Easter everyone, hope we are enjoying the holiday.
Please I need guidance to help me decide how to go about getting work reference letter from my current employer.
Because I don't intend to relocate immediately, I wouldn't like my employer to be aware of my intention so I plan on using my past promotion letters which indicate my job title and salary, in addition to job description documents of my roles and possibly a reference letter stating current role, length of service and salary for purpose of visit.

If anyone is in a similar position, how are you going about it and do you consider above will be a good alternative, also does CIC contact employer directly to confirm letters provided

My suggestions:

-Get your supervisor to write a reference letter for you on a plain paper and get it notarized. You can search for a sample on this thread. It should include his office email, phone numbers and designation. Add his complimentary card to it.

-Apply for a normal reference letter for visa application in favour of High Commission of Canada from your HR. It should contain some basic information about you like grade, annual pay, etc

-You can add your appointment, confirmation, promotion and other relevant letters. Include your job description documents, payslips, and/or your salary account statement.

-Support the above with a LOE stating that your employer does not issue the required letter and the documents that you have provided in lieu of this.

CIC may confirm but I don't think you have anything to worry about since your documents are legit.

Yea. Sure! Just explain the source of the funds. If you borrowed, attach a gift deed

2. Where can i get info on provi ncial nominations?

3. Will appreciate if anyone can help with the link to determine what my express entry scores will look like based on my profile.
