The Four Blood Moon And Its Significance by VcStunner(m): 8:06am On Sep 27, 2015
The Blood Moon Prophecy is a religious belief promoted by some Christian ministers, such as John Hagee and Mark Biltz, which states that an ongoing tetrad (a series of four consecutive lunar eclipses—coinciding on Jewish holidays—with six full moons in between, and no intervening partial lunar eclipses) which began with the April 2014 lunar eclipse is a sign of the end times as described in the Bible in Acts 2:20 and Revelation 6:12.

Overview

On April 15, 2014, there was a total lunar eclipse. It was the first of four consecutive total eclipses in a series, known as a tetrad; a second one took place on October 8, 2014, third one on April 4, 2015 and the remaining one will take place on September 28, 2015. It is one of eight tetrads during the 21st century AD. As with most lunar eclipses, the moon appeared red during the April 15 eclipse. The red color is caused by Rayleigh scattering of sunlight through the Earth's atmosphere, the same effect that causes sunsets to appear red. Hagee also connects the solar eclipse of March 20, 2015 in the middle of the sequence.

The idea of a "blood moon" serving as an omen of the coming of the end times comes from the Book of Joel, where it is written "the sun will turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes." This phrase is again mentioned by Saint Peter during Pentecost, as recorded in Acts, although Peter says that date, not some future date, was the fulfillment of Joel's prophecy. The blood moon also appears in the book of Revelation chapter 6 verses 11 - 13, where verse 12 says " And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood".

Around 2008, Biltz began predicting that the Second Coming of Jesus would occur in the fall of 2015 with the seven years of the great tribulation beginning in the fall of 2008. He said he had "discovered" an astronomical pattern that predicted the next tetrad would coincide with the end times. When the prediction failed, he pulled the article from his website, but continued to teach on the "significance" of the tetrad.

Hagee would later seize on Biltz' prediction to write Four Blood Moons, which would become a best seller, spending more than 150 days in Amazon.com's top 150 by April 2014.[3] For the week ending March 30, 2014, it was the ninth best selling paperback, according to Publishers Weekly. By mid-April, Hagee's book had hit No. 4 on the The New York Times best-seller list in the advice category. Hagee's book (and subsequent sermon series at his home congregation, Cornerstone Church) did not proclaim that any specific "end times" event would occur (as did Biltz in his original prophecy), but claimed that every prior tetrad of the last 500 years coincided with events in Jewish and Israeli history that were originally tragic, yet followed by triumph.
As with the present that totally coincides with the feast of the terbanacle, and the UN general assembly to entrench "one world peace" that held on the 24th sept. It is thus expected that there will be a birth of something new in the world. We only hope it won't be tragic. Today we hope to witness the Lunar eclipse and I urge everyone to enjoy the sight of it because the next is expected to take place in 2033. Happy sunday to us peace loving Nigerians and stay clean! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_Moon_Prophecy!

Hmmm

All these christians and their ministers sef.
Okay. Let us assume that the blood moon (Lunar eclipse) brings the Apocalypse.

In the 20th century alone (not to talk of earlier centuries), there were about 5 series of 4 consecutive blood moons/lunar eclipses. This phenomenon is called a lunar tetrad:

1. Tetrad: 1909 - 1910
2. Tetrad: 1927 - 1928
3. Tetrad: 1949 - 1950
4. Tetrad: 1967 - 1968
5. Tetrad: 1985 - 1986

Now why didn't the Apocalypse happen at any of those dates above?

This is totally why I hate religion. Instead of people to cool down and find causes for strange occurrences, they attribute it to deities and by so doing dwarf their minds and deny their minds the abilities to grow and learn new things.

A lunar eclipse (blood moon) happens between 2 to 5 times in every calendar year (even though there are some centuries which experienced no tetrads)
And according to scientific predictions, there will be a total of 8 series of 4 consecutive blood moons (lunar tetrad) in the 21st century.

And if you tell me that this sequence of blood moons is special because of its coincidence with the Jewish feasts of Passover and Tabernacles, this wont be the first time. (and mind you, none of these recent blood moons were visible in Israel, except maybe the one of September 28, which will only be seen partially and shortly before sunrise)

Tetrads have coincided with Jewish feast of Tabernacles and Passover in:
1. 162-163 C.E. (Common Era)
2. 795-796 C.E.
3. 842-843 C.E.
4. 860-861 C.E.
5. 1493-1494 C.E.
6. 1949-1950 C.E.
7. 1967-1968 C.E.

So why are these pastors acting strange because of a lunar tetrad. Or are they lunatic?

The Jewish Talmud, an important Jewish text used to identify religious Jewish law and the Moses five books known as the Torah indicates that,

Lunar eclipse = bad omen for Jewish people and Israel

Blood moon = Sword coming

Solar eclipse = Bad omen for the world (sign of wrath coming to the world)

A single moon turning into darkness (lunar eclipse) happens fairly regularly but for four moons turning into darkness closely together is extremely rare. There has been only 62 occurrences of four moons turning into darkness closely together since the first century.

But a much rare case is for four moons turning into darkness happening closely together each coinciding with Jewish feasts; Passover and Sukkot.

Four blood moons happening closely together each coinciding with Jewish feasts; Passover and Sukkot is an extremely much rare phenomena.

Since the first century there has been only 9 occurrences of four blood moons happening closely together each coinciding with Passover and Sukkot.

In the past, the rare appearance of four blood moons happening closely together each coinciding with Jewish feasts; Passover and Sukkot has coincided with major events for Israel and the Jewish people.

Major historical events for Israel and the Jewish people coinciding with the appearance of four blood moons in Passover and Sukkot

As said, since the first century there has been only 9 occurrences of four blood moons happening closely together coinciding with Jewish feats; Passover and Sukkot. Therefore we see 9 major historical events for Israel and the Jewish people.

These are: –

1st occurrence of four blood moons coinciding with Passover and Sukkot in 32-33 AD

Passover, 14th April 32 AD – Blood moon
Sukkot, 7th October 32 AD – Blood moon

These four blood moons coincided with the persecution of Jews and Christians in the history of the Roman Empire. The persecution occurred during and after the four blood moons coinciding with Jewish feasts; Passover and Sukkot.

In addition, the four blood moons coincided with famine and plague. Within 3 years the Antonine Plague killed a third of the Roman Empire’s population. The Tiber River which flows through the city of Rome flooded it’s banks in the Spring of 162 AD, killing most animals in Rome and destroying much of the city. A severe Famine resulted.

Sukkot, 23rd September 842 – Blood moon
Passover, 19th March 843 – Blood moon
Sukkot, 12th September 843 – Blood moon

Event: – Dividing of Rome Empire and persecution of Jews

In Europe, Muslims had been attacking Sicily for several years as they attempted to conquer Italy and Europe, and this continued as they attacked and captured Messina in Sicily in 842.

In 843 the Treaty of Verdun divided the Holy Roman Empire into three parts. This affected Jews adversely because the French were tolerant of Jews, but when the French no longer had power over most of Europe, then anti-Jewish feelings were allowed to manifest, leading to persecution of the Jews.

6th occurrence in 860-861 AD

Passover, 9th April 860 AD – Blood moon
Sukkot, 3rd October 860 AD – Blood moon
Passover, 30th March 861 AD – Blood moon

Event: – Persecution of Jews by Russians and Christians persecution by communists

Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius began translating part of the Bible into the Old Slavonic language, which helped in the conversion of the Slavs (Russians). This later led to a great persecution of the Jews by the Russian Christians. The Russian Christians were themselves later severely persecuted by the Communists.

In 861 Muhammed al-Mudabbir arrived in Egypt and tripled the jizya (tax) on Christians and Jews. Because so many could not pay the tax, they filled the prisons. The churches were looted and confiscated.

7th occurrence in 1493-1494

Passover, 2nd April 1493 – Blood moon
Sukkot, 25th September 1493 – Blood moon
(7th march 1494, Total Solar eclipse)
Passover, 22nd March 1494 – Blood moon
Sukkot, 15th September 1494 – Blood moon

Major event: – Expulsion of the Jews from Spain

Over 200,000 Jews were expelled from Spain. Tens of thousands of them died while trying to reach safety.

Horrible crimes were committed against the Jews including knifing deaths by brigands who believed a terrible rumor that they had swallowed gold and diamonds, so they literally searched for treasures in the stomachs of the expelled Jews.

8th occurrence in 1949-1950

Passover, 13th April 1949 – Blood moon
Sukkot, 7th October 1949 – Blood moon
(10th January 1950 – Total solar eclipse)
Passover, 2nd April 1950 – Blood moon
Sukkot, 26th September 1950 – Blood moon

Event: – re-establishment of the state of Israel in 1948 and the ensuing 1948 Arab-Israeli War

There were four blood moons on the eve of the creation of the Jewish state of Israel in 1948 and 1950, and just after the 1st Arab – Israeli War for Independence (May 15, 1948 – March 10, 1949).

9th occurrence in 1967-1968

Passover, 24th April 1967 – Blood moon

(Total solar eclipse 2nd November 1967)
Passover, 13th April 1968 – Blood moon
Sukkot, 6th October 1968 – Blood moon

Event: – 6 day war

The four blood moons coincided with the Six Day War in 1967, when Israel liberated Jerusalem and captured additional land. Jews were able to return to Jerusalem after 2000 years of exile.

See that when four blood moons happen closely together coinciding with Jewish feasts; Passover and Sukkot, there is an event for Israel and the Jews.

And if there is a total solar eclipse within the four blood moons with the solar eclipse also coinciding with a Jewish feast, there is an event for the world.
