xynerise:Actually jungle justice is acceptable in some cases. I witnessed one in kogi state months ago and I just had to agree that the community did what was right. Even the police couldn't stop them. |

Kai! Mothers ooooo please na try as much as you can to protect your children, I know it's not easy but we can't let our daughters lose their innocence this way na, why won't you notice something different when they come back from running the errand? Why won't you ask why they spend time more than necessary on the errands? If this woman had been very observant the man wouldn't have gotten away with doing it many times, walai I promise you that these type of thing cannot go unnoticed with someone like my mum, this story is paining me specially. How can both your daughters get raped by the same man the same time? If our governors (Sani Yerima of Zamfara and Audu of Kogi state) are committing statutory rape in the name of marrying 12 year olds, why wont the citizenry take a cue from their leaders? This week, Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido who is currently on Hajj, has prepared for himself a fresh new "18 year old" bride who has just finished writing her WAEC to take cool body when he returns from the pilgrimage. Controversy is still raging as to whether the young innocent girl is even up to 18 years as Sanusi Lamido claims since these days children write WAEC at very early age, similar to the Chibok girls. Bad Parenting on one hand. Last night on my way home from the office at around 9 pm, I saw two young girls (no more than 12 years old) chatting and getting friendly with a garbage scavenger. I couldn't help hut feel those girls were in real danger. I just wondered where their parents and guardians were. How do you send a 10 year old to a Grownass man's place unaccompanied by an adult?
