With 84 senators rooting for Saraki, who says they cannot scrap CCT or amend the extant laws establishing the court.
Guess you would argue that it is IMPOSSIBLE. But not in Nigeria. The Senate President also has his own clout you know!

Ignoramus op. A concurrent ammendment will be needed from the house also after which President Buhari will have to sign it to law. If such doesn't happen, it can never be law.
The law has come to stay. More corrupt politicians to follow.

Ok. Sowing the seed in the heart of the 84 Senators. At least, they can attempt to since APC have hijacked the CCB/CCT.
If the president does not sign it into law, it can be vetoed. With 84 Senators, Buhari may need to start threading softly, going forward.

The senate has the power to reject the presidents veto and pass it to law once the stipulated time for presidential assent has expired.

Chukwumumu, will the house agree with the selfish proposal. It won't even pass the NASS let alone get to Aso Rock.

This was how the Dogara will not muster the vote story was celebrated. Once the members realise that CCT has become a tool to witch-hunt them, they will support any move to clip its wings. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend you know."

In the beginning we voted for change but the gods think we deserve something better and more pleasing. The evil gods visited Saraki and PDP Senators and they presented us with an opportunity for revolution without blood.

My appeal to commoners is to brace-up for a longer period of sacrifice. The gods (evil and good) are at work and when the battle is over we the good people shall sing songs of victory.

Tribunals and courts of justice are constitutionally rooted institutions. They can only be expunged by amendment to the Constitution. Constitution amendments start from all 36 States Houses of Assembly.

how do we get to this level? op, wetin make you reason this way?
To amend the law on that, 2/3 of the senate, house of rep, house of assembly, then 2/3 of the states. It's just like the NYSC, it's not a law you can just amend anytime you wish to. That's why the FOI Act is not effective at the state level, only the National Assembly was ratified it.

See Nigerians proudly discussing corruption and how to destroy Nigeria. Lol, the power of the masses pass una shaa, they proved it to you people when they expelled GEJ, expect more. Just know this: the President and the executive have the support of Nigerians, NASS cannot win this war, they will incur the wrath of the people and guess who controls the security forces to prevent the people from revolting against them? Yeah. something to think about...
