The Nigerian Army has killed a notorious Boko Haram insurgent who has been terrorising Kwatarha and Torikwaptir communities of Gwoza LGA in Borno. The terrorist was killed by Nigerian troops on Monday, September 28, during an operation in Gwoza.The troops also arrested a Boko Haram kingpin, Alhaji Tijjani Usman Damagum. He was reportedly tracked down and arrested at Damagum town, Yobe.Disclosing the news, Army spokesperson said Damagum is a top Boko Haram member, who has led insurgents on various attacks especially in Yobe.
