The role of the Broadcast Sales Manager is to manage and grow sales of Dan Tv’s broadcast products and services across any of the 5 key regions (Please state in your application which region you are applying for)

The roles works to provide consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through planning, identifying the key objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings, whilst retaining the current client base.

This role requires strong verbal, presentation and email communication skills in conjunction with a broad understanding of web based technologies and services with a background in the advertising and broadcast/content entertainment markets.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the chosen candidate, you will be responsible for

Maintain and introduce client relationships to meet and exceed sales goals
Ensure client needs are clearly articulated back into Dan Tv
Sell high value digital solutions to a mix of new and existing clients
Sell across a number of platforms including awards, social media ad space, website ad & banner space, sponsored content
Creative thinker – Always thinking on your feet of new strategies to generate revenue
Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of a highly successful account relationship
Be able to clearly articulate back to clients how Dan Tv’s solutions will improve productivity and provide cost-effectiveness to their particular issues
Keep clients regularly informed at all stages of new initiatives and products
Proactively communicate on quarterly basis with all clients to identify new sales opportunities, provide customer service, and ensure account renewals (standard/premium)
Ensure accurate and complete information is captured
Attend industry conferences\seminars to network and develop new client relationships
Working closely with Dan Tv’s Client Services to ensure the day-to-day needs are being facilitated
Conduct professional and informative sales visual and product demonstration presentations
Provide market intelligence to identify product improvement areas
Gather competitive intelligence regarding pricing and other information
Participate in direct marketing campaigns such as cold calling, email and social media marketing as directed
Maintain excellent product knowledge and attend all internal training sessions while making note of Release Management emails for product/services updates
Work with or recruitment of the marketing department, to help across marketing and promotional efforts
Participate in Industry events and functions
When required, respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) within its deadline
Share expertise and best practices with new recruits and colleagues
Travel interstate as required and directed
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
Formal Education & Certification

University diploma or degree in the field of broadcast and/or 3 years equivalent work experience.
Certification relating to sales management and/or several years in the related industry in a similar role
Knowledge and Experience

Familiarity with sales process selling methodology
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
Willing to travel
Strong work ethic
Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced (nimble) environment
Highly proficient computer skills including standard desktop products
Personal Attributes

Friendly, cooperative and outgoing personality
Responsibility for being the lead contact for the company.
Excellent computer skills, preferably with experience in using online programs.
Good planning, organising and coordination skills
Excellent attention to detail
Solutions focused, offering alternatives when faced with a road-block
Time management skills
Ability to prioritise effectively
Ability to interact with customers and fellow staff in a pleasant and efficient manner – being a team player.
Work Conditions

Position requires client regular client visits while also performing and exceeding monthly sales targets whilst working from home
Travel is required to client sites while in business hours
