This is a very serious issue in the country and also in the world. The major sectors affected in Nigeria are the entertainment, FMCG and the corporate environment.
ENTERTAINMENT: Many producers, directors and artists have been affected and cheated with the problem of piracy. For instance if a musical album sells over 2million copies , over 80% of this sales turnover will be taken by pirates. Their benefits are generally determined by pirates. In Nollywood, most producers would not want to risk spending huge capital on graphics, camera effects and professional packaging cos they are not sure of a break even not to talk of making profits. This has partly led to the set back of entertainment industry in Nigeria. Although it's developing but the main people are usually cheated. SLUM DOG MILLIONAIRE an Indian movie won Oscar awards. In America Hollywood generates huge tax for their government because the problem of piracy is minimised. They only face cyber piracy which is less than 0.5% in Nigeria. Logically, pirates cannot account for their turnover therefore the government cannot tax them.

FMCG:Fast moving consumble goods industry are also faced with this problem. Many fake drugs and fake products have killed so many people in Nigeria cos the consumers could not identify the fake ones from the authentic ones.

CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONS: Many important or valuable documents have been forged due to lack or security measures in Nigeria. Documents such as share certificates, insurance certificates, certificates for higher institutions, police and doctors reports, and so on. have been tremendously forged in Nigeria. So many criminals have had their ways due to this problem.

SOLUTIONS:
There are different ways to stop, reduce or solve the problem of piracy. This will depend on the sector. For instance we can use HOLOGRAPHIC APPLICATION also known as security print to solve the problem of pirating packages in Nigeria. It has over 17 security features that will make it impossible for pirates to immitate or counterfeit. This could help the entertainment industry for their packaging, FMCG industries for their product packaging and also corporate organizations for securing their important and valuable documents.

THE FIRST HOLOGRAM MACHINE IN NIGERIA IS VERY CLOSE TO YOU TO SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS For further enquiries you can call kehinde on 07038182502 or 07028185097.you can also contact Motunrayo on 08035795226 or 07028185101

SECONDLY, you can also use promo to entise and encourage people to ensure that they get the original package. This could be done through scratch and win promo, raffle draw, and so on.
