Former Minister of Aviation, Senator Stella Odua, has disclosed that‎ corruption is not identity of Nigeria describing the United State of America as most corrupt nation in the world.

Odua, who was speaking on the 55 Independence anniversary of Nigeria, said that there is prospect in Nigeria for investors insisting that criminality should not be identity of the country.

The former Minister who expressed dissatisfaction with‎ negative image of the country said what the country lack right now is social contract.

According to her, I will like to say happy 55 independence anniversary, our reflection should be on our way forward. We are not a criminal nation and criminality is not our identity.

She added that the country needs to have clear policy and direction and to promulgate law that would help the common people in the country.

Also speaking, A Senator representing Niger North Senatorial district in Upper Chamber, Senator Aliyu Abdullahi has described fifty-five independence anniversary as miss-pack of good and bad advising the country leader to learn from past mistakes.

He urged the leaders in the country to stop dreaming but put their plans into action so that the youths of the country can strive.
