Topic : FLEE FROM THE WRATH TO COME .
( 1 thes 1:10).
Past pain may easily be forgotten , future pain are not easily believed, present pains in extremity are so grievous and afflicting that all the wealth and honor in the world can not off-set them. In such a terrible condition , when any physician come to take away the way,such a man in the condition will speedily welcome him.
But if the people believingly get the picture of the horrible pans and torment, that the wicked must endure in the unquenchable flames of hell fire. Where they can never be freedom , and their misery shall have no end. If you can get the picture of how it is a fearful thing to fall into the hand of the living God, and to be swallowed up by His wrath, which pursue all who are out of christ, surely they would use their utmost diligence now to escape.

What is the wrath to come ? It is not the wrath of the most dangerous, furious and fearful creature that is finite, it is not the wrath of lion, it is not the wrath of bear, it is not the wrath of tiger, it is not the wrath of wolves, it is not the wrath of most powerful and oppressive men.
It is not the wrath of the devil, because the wrath of the devil is little to compare to this wrath.
But it is the wrath of infinite wrath of the sin-avenging God, in which when the wrath of all creature stand beside it, is like a mister seed.

This wrath which is to come will be most bitter beyond any Gall or wormwood to the taste, this wrath will be most weighty beyond the biggest mountain in the world, to sink sinners down into the bottomless pit.
It will be most fierce, it will be so powerful that the power of men will not be able to make any resistance, and its torment is eternal.

This punishment has two part.
1. The loss : the punishment of loss will consist of the loss of the crown , the loss of glory, the loss of happiness of heaven, where the righteous shall be welcome and be in the glory of God. But all the wicked will be eternally shut out and shall be denied completely from sharing the least of that happiness , because they will come to understand the worth and excellency of it.

2. The punishment of sense : this will consist the horrible pains and tortures which shall extremely afflict all the part of the bodies of all the wicked.
By the most dreadful and unquenchable Fire into which they shall be thrown, and the horrible anguish. And every faculty of their soul shall be afflicted in hell, where they shall no release forever. ( mat 25:4, Rev 14:10-11).
When this wrath come , who can stand it ? Who can deliver you from this wrath when it come.

That wrath in which , when it capture, it crushes and it burns , and this worse than fire. When it hold and never let go its hold. Though temporal judgement fall upon sinners in this life, but this temporal judgement can not stand beside eternal one.
God exercise His patient towards the wicked, all sinners, though He is angry with them, And His anger smoke against them. But He withhold His wrath from Breaking forth into flame, Because He doesn’t want anyone to perish. This is why sinners is given up to a persecuting spirit.
The wrath of God will certainly come , Remember that Death will certainly come, christ will certainly come, so certainly the wrath of God will come.
For the Lord foretold it “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but not one jot or little of what God foretold shall pass away, until it is fulfilled.

The wicked (sinners) are vessel fitted by sin for destruction, they are prepare for wrath and shall be fill with it. God has treasured up wrath for the wicked , as they have treasure up sin, and God will give them what they deserve , which He has prepare for them.
However sinners may escape this wrath for a while , and vainly hope to flee or hide themselves from the stroke of God’s vengeance . Yet God’s right hand will find all those who hate Him, and He will make them as a fiery oven in the time of His anger, and shall swallow them up in His wrath. And devour them with the fire of His indignation. ( Psalm 21:8-9).

( UPON WHO IS THE WRATH COMING )
1. UPON THE DISOBEDIENT . Col 3:5-6.
This are the set of people who do not yield to the law of God, but live and allow themselves to practice known Sin ( the sin they have known) and neglected the known duties.
They are under the power of reigning sin, who are willing servant of sin, who yield up the members of their body as instrument of unrighteousness to sin. (Rem 6:13). Who serve divers lust ( Titus 3:3) , and who make provision for the flesh to fulfil the lust thereof. Rom 13:14.

Let no one deceived you with vain word or deceive yourselves with vain thought , as if you might escape the wrath of God, although you live and practice so and so sin.
Your security are vain and groundless. ( Deut 29:18-20). Let none that hear this warning thinking “I am safe” even though you are walking in your stubborn way, this would lead to utter ruin.
They are such as blasphemers , swearers , murderers, murdering people through ungodly word, drunkard, thieves, covetous, unrighteous , blackmailer, reviler, scoffer, you are mocking holiness messages, those who hate Godliness of God.
Such as proud and boasters, such as disobedient to parent without natural affection, such as lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.
Such as liars and unfaithful , such as idle and slothful , such that live in envy and malice. Such that are given to revenge and cannot forgives injuries, and all this are the children of disobedience upon whom the wrath of God will come. Ephesians 5:5.

2. UPON THE HYPOCRITE : ( Mat 24:51).
The hypocrite can not escape the wrath to come, they shall be punished in the terrible fire of God. These are such that have the name that LIVETH but DEAD.
These are such that have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof . They have the form of meekness but are beast in the heart. They have the form of humbleness but are proud in the heart. Having a form of sanctified Believers but have a dustbin heart. Having the form of holiness but are sinful and corrupt.

They make some show of outward reformation , but are without inward transformation . They are like a painted grave, fair, and beautiful without , but within are full of rottenness.
This are the people that appear so committed , but take no care to be righteous, rotten at heart , but carnal design with profession.
Their sin is most offensive unto God and His wrath will come upon them severely.

3. UPON IMPENITENT AND UNBELIEVING PEOPLE : Those who accept not the gospel , such will God render indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish. Rom 2:8-9.
Christ will come in flaming fire to take vengeance upon them, those who neglect salvation of the gospel which by faith in Christ alone is attainable But sinning against this only remedy they cannot escape. HEB 2:3.

WHEN SHALL THIS BE TO SINNERS ?
1. After the separation of their soul from their bodies : the soul of the wicked as soon as they are loose by death. They shall appear before God , and shall be condemned to hell.
They shall be dragged by the devil, Hell jailer into prison where flame of fire burn, full with horror and anguish until the day of final judgement and shall be cast to eternal lake of fire.

2. The wrath will come in fully upon all the wicked together at the last day : that day is called the day of destruction of ungodly men. 2 pet 3:7.
This will be a dreadful day unto the wicked, when the heaven shall pass away with a great roar like a scroll roll together. The element shall melt with fervent heat and be dissolved .
It shall be a day when the sun shall become black and moon like a blood, the power of heaven shall be shaken and stars shall fall from heaven to the earth like a leave of tree when is shaken with a mighty wind. There shall be exceedingly loud thundering , and terrible lightning and tempest. What a fearful day, and who can withstand it ?

Who can deliver from the wrath to come ? He is Jesus Christ . Mat 1:21. He has purchased deliverance to satisfied God’s justice . He gave His life for us as a ransoms .
If you can call on Him for salvation as the jailer call on Paul and Silas “What can I do to be saved “” Jesus Christ is the only one that can rescue you, run to Him now for salvation.
You must by faith applied christ, joined to christ, cast off your own foundation and build upon Christ the chief cornerstone, and engrafted into Christ , and Divorced from sin and married unto Christ, the best husband.
Confess your sin now and tell the Lord to pardon you, mention all the sin you remember and tell the Lord to forgive you all of them, tell the Lord to wash you In His Blood and Write your name into the book of Life, and give you the power to sin no more and grace to escape from the wrath to come. Then after this, make sure you study your bible daily, and be prayerful, look for bible believing Church that preached holiness within and without, sanctification , and end time messages and God will help you. FLEE FROM THE WRATH TO COME.
