Invitations have been handed to Flying Eagles duo Dele Alampasu and Wilfred Ndidi and Kingsley Madu earns a recall to the Super Eagles as replacements for the 6 NPFL players who were held up with visas problems at the Belgian Embassy.

Femi Thomas, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Austin Oboroakpo, Paul Onobi, Prince Aggrey and Chima Akas along with some members of the NFF were due to join the Super Eagles camp in Belgium for the double header friendlies on Thursday and Sunday (8th & 11th October).

But the Eagles Coach has grown frustrated with the wait and so instructed they players joined 19 other home based players in Port Harcourt – preparing for the CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.


The development was announced on the team’s twitter account, indicating team Administrator Dayo Enebi has received instructions to write the concerned clubs about the invitation.


The newly invited trio are expected to arrive the team’s camp on Wednesday.
