In Ogun State, Ogun indegenes dominate the government. In Ondo state, Ondo indegenes dominate the government. In Ekiti state, Ekiti indegenes dominate the government. In oyo state, Oyo indegenes dominate the government. In Osun state, Osun indegenes dominate government But in Lagos state, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti and Osun states indegenes dominate government while Lagos indegenes are left to eat from the crumb that falls from their tables. What a deceipt, what a cheating and injustice being palpitrated under the guise of- Lagos is Yoruba land. Lagos indegenes wake up from this age-long deceit. Save your future from the hijackers. This is 21st century. 1 Like |

sherrylo:By this he has confirmed that Lagos is Yoruba land. He hopes to create division amongst the Yorubas of Lagos using his post. He is counting on Lagos Yorubas being as kantankerous as his kind are. If his calculations were right, this should have worked. 6 Likes |

It is left for Aworis, Eguns and Ijaws which are the real owners of Lagos to work hard and produce the next governor instead of them to continue to allow immigrants from from Osun, Ogun, Ondo and Ekiti to continue to produce governor over them since 1999 in there Land. 7 Likes |

Rayhut: Lagos comprising of Lagos Island, Ikoyi, VI and Ebute Metta, is different from Lagos State that was created in 1967 and expanded to include territories of the erstwhile Western Region prior to independence. Agege, Ogba, Ketu, Ikorodu, Epe, Ipaja, Oshodi and lots of other places in present day Lagos state does not exist in your goggle results. I do not need goggle to tell me my state's history or tradition. Concerning the Eguns (Fon), there is no such thing as ancient migration, they are traditionally the owners of their land Badagry in Lagos and Ipokia in Ogun, and both have minority Awori native to some areas of those loacations. They just happen to be in Nigeria just like Ketu of the Yorubas happen to be in Benin Republic. Tribes that share international boundary can always be found as natives across both sides of those international boundaries. The Awori's stake to Lagos state is majorly the Island region, Ikeja and its greater surroundings and parts of Badagry. There are other parts to Lagos state that the Awori wouldn't even dare to speak unbidden. Ijaw is a visitor to Lagos waters that can be sent packing anytime. 2 Likes |

simplycarro:Not everyone posting fact here are Igbo, we are telling you the fact, even some aworis protested last week in Lagos island of marginalization by the present government, Few years ago the king of Awori land declared openly that Aworis are not Yoruba, the same goes for Eguns. A Yoruba man cannot even here or understand Awori or Egun language. The Aworis, Egun and Ijaws are the original owners and ancient inhabitants of Lagos, Aworis and Egun migrated from Benin republic and Togo, Ijaws migrated through the waters from old eastern Nigeria, after Ijaw migrant came Yoruba migrants from the hinterland of of Ile ife,Ijebu,Egba land,Oyo and then Igbo migrants and others, so in all everybody living in Lagos is a migrants. 2 Likes |

See the cheating Yorubas killing themselves over their nyash wey i don open. Why dont you go to your state and develope it and allow Lagos indegenes to govern their state. The government of every state in Nigeria is dominated by its indegenes except Lagos state. Lagos jndigenes wake up and prove that Lagos is not no man's land or Lagos continues to be no man's land. |

I thought Lagos has moved beyond just appointing persons from other Yoruba State? Lagos has even gone further to appoint Easterners/Non Yorubas as Commissioners. It is becoming the example of how Nigeria should be in many diverse ways. The Escravos and Forcados you are crying is too late. Anyway, Life Vest for Hire just in case the chase into the lagoon matter comes up. |

This unwise man actually thinks he can bring disunity among Yorubas.. Nah it can't happen as a matter of fact ten million of you can't make it happen. If Yorubas from other states decide to work in Lagos, a Yoruba state, please what exactly is the problem. Who's doing the hiring? Plus pls Lagosians are not complaining. If we split today, you think Lagos will relocate to SS?? My guy go and sleep, you sound like you need it. 1 Like |

chuna1985: Faulty thought process. In my kingdom in the soith-south, which has existed for centuries, their are areas of our lands that no one has lived in for centuries. But they still remain under our territorial control. How stupid will it be to proclaim it no man's land because no one has ever lived there. In ancient times, if any foreign kingdom tried to lay claim, it would attract the wrath of the entire kingdom. Igbo's just don't understand this because they have never been a nation through history. Because they never organised themselves into one political body, they never had territorial integrity as a people in the past so they disgrace themselves before the entire nation, showing themselves as grasping and of low/no civilisation, for they are completely unaware, it would seem, of how grossly stupid this very misdemeanour is in the eyes of every other tribe within the country, making it harder for them to earn our respect. It is like a person who does not understand the concept of marriage saying "I know you just married your wife this morning but we got talking this afternoon and she seems to like me. It is just 4 in the evening and you have not yet taken her home yet. Why won't you just let me have her? You unfair discriminatory Igbo-persecuting man!" These folks never had territorial integrity in the past so they do not understand it. 1 Like |

mrmetoo1:It is the way they are in the east. I am from the soth-south and I schooled in the east, Umuahia. I found out they discriminate amongst themselves based on states of origin and the emotions run deep. I told them "Why? I don't even know the difference between an Imo and an Abian" Something wrong with those people 2 Likes |
