Is This A Potential Domain Scam? by fxbot: 3:45pm On Oct 09, 2015
I registered 2 domain names few hours ago, both being .com.ng

One is word.com.ng and the other one is wordword.com.ng.

I registered word.com.ng FIRST before registering wordword.com.ng.

As I am typing this now, wordword.com.ng which was registered last is ACTIVE while word.com.ng which was first registered is PENDING.

why would they place the domain name on PENDING? I had to put this up here before they play any smart game.

It's best to contact your domain registrar first before making assumptions that it's a scam. Did you purchase domain from a reputable provider?

nope. They claim they didn,t see any payment and that I should call my bank to reverse the payment. Yet money was removed from my account.

You should contact your bank before assuming it's a scam
