US Pulls Aircraft Carrier Out Of Persian Gulf As Russian Ships Enter by ladkud(m): 3:07pm On Oct 10, 2015
The United States has pulled out the USS
Theodore Roosevelt, a massive, nuclear-powered
aircraft carrier, of the Persian Gulf as Russian
warships have entered the area.
For the first time since 2007, the US Navy has
now no aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf,
according to NBC News.
The warship was withdrawn from the Persian Gulf
on Thursday, a day after Russia fired 26 long-
range cruise missiles from its Caspian Flotilla
against terrorists in Syria, Pentagon officials
US military officials claimed that the aircraft
carrier, which the houses about 5,000 sailors and
65 fighter jets, was withdrawn because it needed
to undergo maintenance.
Tensions between the United States and Russia
escalated after Moscow began its military
campaign on September 30 against Daesh (ISIL)
terrorists wreaking havoc in Syria.
Russia has carried out more than 110 airstrikes
against terrorists in Syria so far, killing hundreds
The Pentagon announced on Wednesday that the
United States had adopted measures to ensure a
safe distance from Russian fighter jets flying over
Republican Senator John McCain, the chairman of
the Senate Armed Services Committee, said on
Thursday that Washington should "just leave"
Syria "if all of your [US] actions are dictated by
the risk of confrontation with Russia."
Peter Daly, a retired Navy vice admiral, noted that
the absence of a US aircraft carrier is being
noticed by Russians.
"The most important thing you need a carrier for
is for what you don't know is going to happen
next," Daly told NBC News.
Three unnamed US military officials claimed on
Thursday that some cruise missiles fired from
Russian ships at targets in Syria landed in Iran.

the Caspian Sea on Wednesday . ( Russian Defense
Ministry Press Service)
The officials stated that four Russian cruise
missiles went off course and crashed in Iran,
adding that they don’t know if the errant missiles
caused any damage.
In response, the Russian Defense Ministry
statement said that the new Kalibr-NK cruise
missiles all struck within nine feet of their
intended targets in Syria.
"No matter how unpleasant and unexpected it is
for our colleagues in the Pentagon and Langley,
our strike yesterday with precision-guided
weapons at ISIS (Daesh/ISIL) infrastructure in
Syria hit its targets," the Russian Defense
Ministry spokesman said on Thursday.

America is afraid of Russia... But will never admit it... Shame to US.. Why didn't they keep it there? I know Russia would've tactically strike on the ship just to step on America's toe... And America will do nothing about it...

yanabasee:I'm gonna be cool with you this time cuz I don't want this to escalate more than it has.
I was referring to what I read on NL generally even though I quoted you but you responded by saying my English is poor which is a bit of an insult considering how English is taken way to seriously in Nigeria.
Now I'm gonna ask you directly, how the hell in the world will Russia strike the US and not get a retaliation from the US?
I'm a Night Walker by Nigerian time but not here, true I'm jobless but that's the terms I agreed with my uni not to work for a while so I won't get distracted while they test my steel and finally I'm not a tout.
If you quote me with a rude comment again I'll show that I AIN'T GOT NO CHILL
Re: US Pulls Aircraft Carrier Out Of Persian Gulf As Russian Ships Enter by yanabasee(m): 8:54pm On Oct 13, 2015
You quoted me and indirectly abused my post as being a "SHIT". You can't manoeuvre your conscience over your insult. But I'll admit this is a misunderstanding.
Now that you've asked... America is supporting the REBELS while the Russian strike is directly on the rebel's camp. The US has been training and equipping the rebels but yet to give an account over it. The United States launched a $500 million program to train and equip Syrian rebels, but doesn't have much to show for it. The U.S. Defense Department announced on Friday that it will suspend the rebel training program..
Russia is too open with their strikes. If America isn't afraid.. They would've asked Russia to ceasefire on the rebel's camp. And again, this fear made them to withdraw their Aircraft Carrier from the Gulf.
If you don't understand, try and work on your comprehensiveness.
@the bolded... Indeed, you're jobless!

NighttWalker:I think he is right in a way. Russia might strike the naval carrier but term it unintended or a mistake. the u.s would ask for compensation, which Russia would accept to pay, but wouldn't. remember Russia owes the u.s some amount of money they got during ww2, but Russia told them point blank that they wouldn't pay. and I believe the u s has forgotten the issue.
but in anyway if any unintended strike involves the death of human lives, I believe the Russians would be obliged to pay compensations.

Re: US Pulls Aircraft Carrier Out Of Persian Gulf As Russian Ships Enter by NighttWalker(m): 4:54pm On Oct 16, 2015
bonechamberlain:What would Russia strike the US with and term it unintended? cruise missile? the cruise missile travels from the caspian sea and then through Iran and Iraq before hitting it's target in Syria, you can never hit someone in the gulf and term it a mistake, that's just stupid and calling for war.
Airstrike? the jets will be shoot down if they don't identify themselves before they get in range

Comment by the Saker: the big news here is that the USA has pulled the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) out of the Persian Gulf and that, for the first time in many years, no US aircraft carrier will be patrolling these waters. In fact, there are currently no US aircraft carriers anywhere near the Middle-East. Funny fact: Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th US President and Russia fired exactly 26 cruise missiles, after which the Theodore Roosevelt withdrew. Coincidence or the the Kremlin send a message to Uncle Sam?

CVN-71 and CVN-76 from this map appear to be converging at the South China Sea… Hmmmmmmmm

NairaMinted:Itmay be coincidence on the surface, but if you are one that deals with binary numbers and coded sequence, then you will understand that what Russia deliberately sent a coded message which the Pentagon codedly decipher. I laugh when people say they pulled the ship out cos it was due for mentainance; what a lame excuse. Anyway, its quiet now for the time being.
Re: US Pulls Aircraft Carrier Out Of Persian Gulf As Russian Ships Enter by yanabasee(m): 9:42pm On Oct 16, 2015
America's Aircraft carrier was at the location close to the rebel's camp where Russia's striking is intense...
With this, Russia MiGhT extend their fire to their aircraft carrier with the mission to destroy ISIS...
You should get a DsTV.... You seems to ask questions you shouldn't be asking! Quite naïve!
Don't ask any other question! I'm done with you!
End of class!

NairaMinted:Yeah. The stakes have been raised ever since China started building artificial islands in the south China sea. And it is gradually reaching a feverish level. But the truth is, it has nothing to do with the Chinese new Islands. Do anyone actually think the US gives a dime if China sand-fill the whole sea? Nah nah! There is more than meet the eye in this US/China feud. Something very alarming is gradually happening to the US financial/economic base, which alot of people haven't notice (i might do a thread on that later).
The provocative actions taken by US government in the South China Sea is only a response to this impending financial doom and fear by the elites (the shadow government) , and not in the interest of the American people, nor does it portend any strategic and security threat to the nations's national interest. The White House is simply taking orders from the financial elite shadow figures, the bankers who control the money supply and the government. These are the same people who imposed sanctions against Russia, overthrew the elected government of Ukraine, and destroyed one of the most stable nations in the Middle East, Libya. As one analyst aptly put it: They are mad men, lunatics, and are leading the world to war.
Why would the bankers want to provoke China? The answer has nothing to do with the South China Sea. It has everything to do with the U.S. dollar.
The dollar has been a cash machine for the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank because they collect interest on every dollar printed, all at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. It is no different from raping and pillaging, except they have managed to make it legal. However, the Fed is not content to just rape U.S. taxpayers. They want to rape the rest of the world too. They have managed to get away with it for decades, but now the rest of the world is getting tired of it, especially since 2008 when the Fed began printing trillions of dollars to bail out their failed financial institutions.
The impact of the Fed’s reckless money printing has been felt around the world because almost all International trade is done in dollars and nearly all of the world’s commodities are priced in U.S dollars. The excessive money printing caused prices for commodities like corn, wheat, soybeans, and oil to increase to all time highs. The higher prices were especially harmful to third world and emerging nations because they spend over half of their incomes on food and energy. For some nations the economic turmoil even resulted in the overthrow of governments, including Tunisia and Egypt.
Now, to protect themselves, China, while systematically increasingly dumping it's shares of US treasury bonds, pegged its currency to the dollar, which enabled them to avoid much of the commodity price inflation and avoid raising prices for their exports. However, they did not stop there. They began taking actions to replace the dollar as the world’s reserve currency so they would never again be victimized by US actions. They began developing their own alternative financial system to replace the western-based systems.
In defiance of the western bankers, they formed the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank as an alternative to institutions like the World Bank and the IMF. They invited other countries to join and just about everyone did, even long-time U.S. allies like South Korea, Australia, the U.K., France, Germany, and Italy. Only Japan stayed loyal to the U.S.
In addition, China formed new trade and military alliances with Russia. Not quite long they completed joint military training exercises and signed a new trade agreement, and is now getting more pronounced that complete alliance between China and Russia is very imminent.
Therefore, the conflict in the South China Sea and the now coverging US millitary assets around that area. is not about the new islands that China is building. It is about the financial elite trying desperately to put China back in their place, to force them to yield to their demands, to show them
" we are still the boss ". Unfortunately, this strategy is going to backfire because the United States is more vulnerable than ever before due to the enormous government debt, which is now over $18 trillion. Meanwhile, China is stronger than ever due to years of strong economic growth and a very large, well funded military. Also.
China’s military force in the South China Sea far outnumbers the United States in both air and sea power. The U.S. has just 9 destroyers compared to 73 for China. The U.S. has 2 submarines compared to 58 for China. The U.S. has 54 fighter/bomber aircrafts compared to 2,100 for China. (Source: U.S. Department of Defense, World Air Forces 2015 report.)
Thats why China is not being intimidated so far.
And with Russia in Syria on another side, the US is facing more than it can chew.

This is why CVN-71 is presently in the Indian Ocean
America, India and Japan launch six-day joint naval exercises in the Bay of Bengal under the watchful eye of China
America is taking part in six-day joint naval exercises in the Bay of Bengal with India and Japan in order to show their strengthening alliance in the face of a resurgent China
The muscle-flexing exercises are taking place despite warnings from Chinese to India not to be drawn into an 'anti-China' alliance (pictured, fighter jets sit on the deck of the USS Theodore Roosevelt)
The U.S. has deployed the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt, alongside warships and a nuclear submarine for the drills, codenamed Malabar
