Tribunal Sacks Senator Gilbert Nnaji by GOATandYAMtheory: 4:49pm On Oct 12, 2015

The National Assembly Election Tribunal sitting in Enugu State has sacked Senator Gilbert Nnaji representing Enugu East District.

The judgement was given in favour of former Governor, Chimaroke Nnamani, who contested on the platform of the People for Democratic Change, PDC, against Nnaji of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The Panel held that the conduct of the election did not comply with the 2010 Electoral Act.

DAILY POST reports that thousands of supporters have taken over Enugu streets in celebration of the judgement.

I answered your question when u said APC is not present in south-east.

Even if they can't get a senator from the zone they already had a governor, who govern the state.

Watch as Nnamani will decamp to APC after he officially takes his seat from the thieving PDP senator in the senate.
