Editor1: The Nigerian senate has postponed decision on the petition against the ministerial nomination of Rotimi Amaechi, immediate-past governor of Rivers state.
After the senate adopted the recommendation of the ethics committee on Amina Mohamed, who was falsely petitioned as a candidate from Kaduna state, the senate stood down decision on Amaechi.
The Senate leader, Ali Ndume, said the report of the ethics committee’s work on Ameachi’s petition was not ready. He requested more time, promising that it would be ready on Wednesday.
Bukola Saraki, president of the senate, accepted his request and announced that the matter would be reviewed on Wednesday.

I have not seen a person so loved and celebrated by the APC base like this man. It's infectious. Wall after wall, post after post. APC is waiting to erupt in jubilation at his confirmation. What is this je ne sais quoi Amaechi possesses? I have to confess, I too have caught the fever. I'm waiting anxiously for his confirmation. I have ordered my special ogogoro from Otueke already. A drunken fest is very likely, even as far away as Las Vegas. Lol! 2 Likes |

And I don't see Amisky the Lion escaping this trap!! QOUTE ME ON THE LAST DAY!! Amaechi had never (and i emphasize NEVER) lost a political battle. He triumphed against OBJ, He won against Mama peace, he even won the governorship forum Chairman against a largely PDP dominated forum, and most importantly, he lead the defeat of Jonathan at the polls. I honestly do not see Wike and his 3 senators stopping Amaechi from becoming minister. |

With all this seasonal film from the senate, it will be shameful for them if at the end, they still end up screening Amaech as a minister.
Something tells me Amaechi will pull through. |

He relishes being under such fire. He would have his ducks in a row and would shoot down their questions with the type of arrogance that comes with being in the clear. No worry, make dem bring their ingredients come, when we enter kitchen na ehn we go sabi Wetin we wan cook. Them Rivers Senators had better watch their asses lest hey get caught in their own trap. I'm one of them. Any honest Rivers person can't complain about Amaechi's works.. Where people hate him is in his politicking. He didn't take any prisoners, didn't share money like they wanted, didn't allow them control him and sure as he'll didn't allow dem room to fhuck around under him. They hate the way he played the game, but when it comes to works, Amaechi Transformed every aspect of the state he touched.. From Health care to Education to roads to employment .. |
