Good Question... I have been following the screening since morning, they really got tough question right there. but the way I looked at it, i finds out that most of our leaders are either one time teacher(s) or they are too educated in their respective field. The way they tackle the question thrown to them seems as if Nigeria dream are a step closer.

Only if they can take a pragmatic approach towards the implementation of what they are saying...it won't take time to reform Nigeria into what the world 'll be so eager to emulate.

A diplomatic way to answer that would be "The Nigerian army has recorded major victories recently against the insurgents and they have been able to purchase modern warfare equipment to tackle the insurgency, this goes to say they are rightly positioned to defeat the insurgents, and with the cooperation of the communities and constant morale boost for the soldiers, the insurgency will hopefully be ended sooner than later."
Take a bow dude, you deserve a ministerial appointment

Another answer, the current political dispensation has put in place some measures like addressing the issue of insurgency with G7 nations. Also with the support of the neighbourhood countries tried enormously to collaborates with Nigeria army inoder to curb insurgency in the country also with the support of all citizens by providing credible informations for the security agencies.

Nothing tactful about that question. That should be an assessment question not a pro-assumption question. if he answered based on the past, that answer might not fit into the present.

After watching/listening to comrade Dr Ogbe( prospective minister of Agriculture, delivering his speech today, I held hope that Nigeria has people of high integrity who has made marks across diverse areas of human endeavour.

But our problems now lies that the people they surrounds themselves with are the same people that causes bad governance. If our government can be able to sanction anyone who breached the law, in no distant time this country will get better.

What is tactful about asking a minister-to-be and rtd officer who is neither still in the military nor in govt the combat readiness of the military And yet we hear dey didn't know their names were on the list.... Their usual "Bow and go" makes more sense even... Screening my foot. .

How combat ready is the Nigerian Army?
It was asked by a senator from Cross river state and to Lt.Gen Dambazau, who is envisaged to be the Minister of Defense.
he gave a rather apt answer.

I suspect the man that asked that question to be a lecturer.

T. A Orji even asked question today. I was very happy that he was courageous enough to ask about clasping buildings. Note, he even forgot to mute his mic. because he is not used to that.

the question wasn't about insurgency . Didn't you see where he gave the answer by saying "that's why we have them all over the place"?
