The Federal Military Government under the leadership of President MohammaduBuhari has started a pilot program of three square meals a day. The pilot programme which has been going on for two months in Daura and two weeks in Kura surburb of Abuja has been greeted with overwhelming success. Run by Aisha and Zahra Buhari from the 1 billion naira food allowance approved for Mama Piss, the program serves dawa, dodo, shinkafi and amalla to hungry indigent Nigerians. 750,000 people have benfitted from the program so far. |
