I have observed with keen interest how churches operate and the modus operandi of banks in terms of objectives and targets. Here's what I think.....

Banks have their primary objective as expanding as much as possible right? Pulling in as much cash as possible abi?
So to achieve this, they sell their brand by employing marketers who go out there to pull in customers. When this happens, when the customers are brought in in their numbers... The bank grows financially... The managers go home with fat pay cheques and the marketers who did the dirty job are given a tiny cut from the customers income, while the bank keeps the rest with continued promises of more for the marketers if they bring in more customers(more money).

About churches, there's a slight variation as everyone is made to be a marketer, preach the word they say, win souls, sell the good news to people, convince them to worship with the church, where they are promised all the sweet things of life if they become members... When they eventually become members, they are made to pay tithes, offerings, first and last fruits, harvest levies, marital seeds et al... All of which enhances the frivolous and flamboyant lifestyle of clerics and their counterparts. More churches are built, schools, businesses, from which the lower chamber (the poor) of these churches benefit very little. And then the church urges them on, win more souls, your blessing is on the way, one more soul perhaps and the Lord Almighty might decide to embarrass you with wealth.

This is just an observation, and is not in anyway aimed at denting the Bank's or church's image.

We must be enriched in this world to prepare us for the wealth awaiting us in the next. Streets of gold and crowns of gold for all. There are no poor people in Heaven.

I expected a reply of this sort, But the christ that you preach and the apostles that you are meant to imitate did not propagate this kind of message... They did not preach poverty neither did they emphasize on derivation of material wealth by embracing the gospel, So from whence commeth your understanding?
