These big politicians like Obasanjo and Co have been revolving round the power even before I was born. Obasanjo was once a military head of state, he later became president under civilian government and now he is the BOT Chairman of PDP.

Babangida served also as a military head of state and up till now he is still eyeing presidency under civilian government. Just to mention but a few.

And now what is happening in Ekiti State is a woman of 74 years of age still as INEC REC.
In Nigeria they said future belong to the youths but ALAS a woman of 74 years still in control, na waa for this country. The old people are still revolving around the corridors of power when will they allow the youth to take over?

Where are we heading to in this Nation

Yes, that's exactly what happens when the youths are not up to the task.

Where are the youths? do you know yourselves? what capabilities av you to channel the course for an enviable Nigeria?

To a large extent, we should not blame these people because we have failed to identify the younger generations that could lead this country to the promise land.

The very few ones with a vision and the capability are not encouraged by the system and all efforts have bin lost in the process. A change is the solution through revolution determined by a carefully systematised procedure. The recruit is YOU. But, are you not better of taking bribes, raping, killing, stealing, yahoozing for all you care, Until we take it upon ourselves that we are the change in determination, Brother, You might read a similar story on NL in 40years time if you are lucky to still be alive by then.

do your part- follow the right tread.

Youth don die long time - Underfunding of the nations educational establishments has killed any chance of the youth been involved in any kind of revolt. The some that are educated including myself are more interested in looking for jobs in banks, telecoms and oil and gas sectors

No it is not realistic in Nigeria. Things have decayed for a very long time without corrections undertaken. Maybe in the next 100years, our youths may become the future leaders we eagerly hope for. undecided

Yes the Youths are the future. How ever, the question is; What sort of future awaits our youths? smiley There hasn't been much good examples and solid foundation laid, so it may be the same in the future. After all, the apple don't fall far from the tree. However, I hope this is not the case.

It really couldn’t be any other way. . . . . .Do we expect leaders from other nations to take over our country??

All I hope for is that, the up coming leaders learn hard lessons from the pollutants that have lead before them, lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

and ensure there isn’t essentially a repetition of the mockery they have made out of things,. . . sad sad

I think for things to get better . . . . . they must get extremely bad first, and that is what we are experiencing at this time. . . .

Hopefully better times are still ahead!!

i quite luv dis thread.one thing we should all get right into our mindset is that the youths are leaders from today, what u see urself doin 2mr,u can start doin it from 2 dy.long tyme ago from primary schl days we are told that youth are leaders of 2mr,because it has enter our head,so we now fold our hands doin nothing waiting for the 2mr dat will never come.

youths are leaders from 2day is realistic if u as a youth will position ur self in place of impact to add values and mak a different in our society in spite of all odds.

so let us look at the goliath in our society we can kill.the dream we can interpret,if we do that ,leadership will find us.irrespective of our education, sex and background.

we should not sit and laments about our present leaders,we should rise up,think out of d box, think differently, act differently.

naija o ni baje, Amin
