I was cleaning my ear this morning with cotton buds. On pulling it out of my ear, I realised the cotton got stock inside. Please what do I do. I'm not yet feeling any pain in my ear.

see a doctor right away if possible and I'd suggest you try not to remove it yourself using any tools like tweezers or wood cause you may end up pushing it in further and although it may not hurt now, it will if it goes anywhere near your ear drum!. the doctor has a special syringe that can be used to pull this out and it shouldn't take longer than 5-10 minutes. and he/she will check with an otoscope to make sure the entire bud is out

You could seriously damage your ear if you do something that doesn't work.
Better to be safe than sorry

If you are in Nija dont just see any Doctor, make sure you see an ENT specialist. If an expert sees you it will take less than 10 seconds to get it out . Some doctors dont know their limits and will end up damaging your ears for what is actually a simple problem. The truth is nothing will happen if it stays for a few days, it cant get into your brain or anything. But a poorly trained Doc can rupture your eardrum for life. Ive seen enough to last me a life time. Trust me!!

Sissy, Allycat, thanks a lot. A general practitioner removed it this afternoon. Didn't take long as you said. Thanks for the advice. It sure relaxed my mind
