Two undergraduate students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Ebuka Orumba and Patrick Nwafor allegedly hacked into the account of Simmons Cooper Partner, a law firm belonging to Vice President, Osinbajo and
stole N8m.

Nwafor and Orumba are final year students of Environmental Science and Computer Engineering respectively. They hacked into the email of the Account manager of the company, Mr. Tunde Irukera, and sent a mail to UBA PLC on July 2, 2015, instructing them to transfer N8m to 3 different bank accounts they opened for the fraud.

They connived with a tricycle rider, Artor Kalu, to open an account with Zenith bank using a false name and N3m was transferred into it. Kalu was however arrested when he went to withdraw the money at the bank’s branch at Mushin, Lagos.

Orumba was subsequently arrested too but Nwafor escaped. The duo got Kalu a fake Driver’s license with which he opened the account. Orumba and Kalu have been charged to court while efforts are on to arrest Nwafor…..

I doubt if they wld b jailed 4 more than 30 years. Osinbajo won’t allow it, being a pastor……
